Secrets Of The Crown

Sheenani
The Kingdom of Praeven was cradled by water. Encircled by the vast, silver expanse of the Lake of Lumber, the realm stood like a jewel in a basin of mist. Fishermen cast their nets at dawn, cathedral bells echoed across the waters at noon, and by dusk the surface reflected the banners of House Seymour-deep blue embroidered with a crowned stag. To the north, the jagged spine of the Montes Glauci cut the horizon like a blade. Beyond those mountains lay the Kingdom of Bree-a land of salt wind and endless dunes, where the sea devoured its coasts and the desert swallowed its north. Bree was vast but starved of abundance. Praeven was smaller, but rich with timber, fertile soil, and freshwater. And so they warred. Faith divided them. Blood remembered. Generations passed, yet resentment endured. Now Praeven was ruled by House Seymour, under the fragile peace forged through marriage-King Charles of Praeven and Queen Davina of Bree. A union meant to end centuries of hostility. But peace built on secrets rots from within. The lake remembered. And it would bear witness.
