The planet was once nothing but a vast emptiness, floating within the fabric of reality. But when a dying dimensional being, a god-like entity beyond mortal comprehension, sealed itself inside of a dimension encasing its body in the planet, everything changed. The planet itself became a living entity, pulsing with energy, growing lush with vegetation, and sustaining the three great civilizations that flourished upon it.
In return for its endless gifts—food, shelter, and safety—the civilizations unknowingly upheld an ancient pact: to return their dead to the planet. They believed it was a sacred cycle of renewal, a balance of life. Yet, none knew the true nature of this agreement. The body of the dead was broken down and poured into the hidden dimension, fueling the regeneration of the great being. The soul was released to the afterlife. And the mind—the vast reservoir of knowledge and experience—was recycled, planted into the very soil, creating the rich consciousness of the world itself.
For eons, this balance remained undisturbed. Until now.
