Fractured Oath
In a kingdom shadowed by age and memory, King Alric summons his most trusted knights to the Round Table with grave tidings: the northern fells have fallen silent. Villages once filled with life now stand abandoned, their people vanished or fled, whispering of a presence that defies reason—a creature not bound by nature, but something darker, something that seems to bend the night itself.
Among those called are Sir Cedric, a battle-hardened warrior driven by action; Sir Rowan, a perceptive and cautious knight who questions what lies beneath fear; and Sir Percival, young yet resolute, caught between courage and uncertainty. Though their instincts differ, they are united under a single command: journey north, uncover the truth, and end whatever terror has taken root there.
Yet this is no ordinary hunt.
As the knights prepare to leave the safety of the castle, unease lingers. The king himself warns that this enemy may not be defeated by steel alone—that it will test not just their strength, but their minds, their unity, and their very sense of reality. Bound by oath to stand together, the knights set forth knowing that what awaits them is not merely a beast to be slain, but a mystery to be faced… and perhaps a darkness that cannot be so easily destroyed.
