Star was born into a Noble legacy that produced power, but he was the one exception.
In this world, humanity survives through those marked by the Crimson Mandate. Those who receive the Mandate manifest as Spirit Warriors, individuals capable of standing against the monsters born from the darkest corners of the human mind.
These monsters are known as WOES.
They are creatures of flesh and blood, but their existence is far from natural. They are manifestations of human suffering, formed from fear, rage, sorrow, delusion, nightmares, and every broken thought people try to bury, and are also strengthened by these negative emotions.
It is the duty of the Spirit Warriors to defend humanity whenever these creatures manifest.
But when others were marked, Star was not. When they manifested their power, he remained dormant.
The disappointment that followed him soon turned into shame, and that shame into something far worse.
He was mocked, looked down on, and reduced to a name that followed him everywhere:
The Hollow Prince.
For a long time, Star endured the certainty that he was a failure.
Until endurance was no longer enough.
He faced a tragic loss, and in that loss, something inside him finally broke. In that moment, something answered.
But it was not the power he was meant to have.
It was a forbidden power, one that does not merely corrupt its wielder, but shatters the soul itself.
In awakening it, Star did not become a hero.
He became something feared even among Spirit Warriors.
He became a Spirit Untamed.
