When the Tohotsi spoke a single sentence to the entire planet, humanity’s relationship with reality tore wide open.
Some survivors became gods. Others mutated into monsters. The rest learned to bleed in the dirt.
They called it the Great Elevation.
Atlas, on the other hand, was just a remarkably average guy reading a book on a bench. He doesn't even remember dying. He just closed his eyes on a sunny afternoon and woke up centuries later in a ruined world.
Now, he’s been sold into the Rohar, a continent-spanning network of death arenas where broken men kill each other for the entertainment of those who hold the leash.
To survive the meat grinder, Atlas has only one tool, his Qualia. The raw, untamed weight of his own will pressing against the fabric of reality itself.
But power demands a toll, and Atlas isn't paying with his blood. He's paying with his humanity.
Thing is, to win this game, Atlas is going to have to become a monster. And the version of himself capable of surviving the arena might not be a man worth saving.
