Huo Yuhao looked at his reflection on the waters of the Ice and Fire Yin-Yang Well with fascination. This was the first time he ever saw anyone with these many eyes on their face.
Actually, no, he did remember someone with more than two eyes on their faces. Someone named Shin? Then there was also Danzo.
They were weirdly obsessed with the Sharingan.
Nonetheless, Huo Yuhao just felt it was strange seeing himself with six eyes.
"Does this mean I'm a pure Ōtsutsuki in blood?" He muttered with a strange expression.
And unsurprisingly he easily assimilated with all his new eyes and the likely change of his bloodline. It was strange. But he guessed it was because of his high spiritual power that made assimilating with six visions made much easier.
And being an Ōtsutsuki, honestly, he doesn't really care. Technically he was a Dai, a descendant of the White Tiger. But he threw that out after the suffering he endured in his childhood.
Whether it was Uchiha or Ōtsutsuki, as long as he has power and it came without any disadvantages, he doesn't care. The only blood relative he cared about was dead.
Though, he did have an ounce of sympathy for his half-sister and younger half-brother... That still wasn't enough for him to care about his bloodline.
As long as they don't get in his way, he wouldn't touch them.
'Alright, let's take into account.' Huo Yuhao closed the Byakugan, Jōgan, and the Kokugan.
First off was his most familiar and true pair of eyes, the Sharingan. It was a bit weird they were above his eyebrows.
But most importantly he still have all its abilities and techniques; from the mature three tomoes to the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan; with the Mangekyou techniques enhanced after recent events he's now realizing.
'Biggest question is, can I use the Rinnegan?' It was quite known in the world of Shinobis that those who obtained the Rinnegan seemed to never turn off the eyes or revert them back to either Mangekyou Sharingan or Sharingan.
Except for Madara Uchiha.
The reason? According to Huo Yuhao's memories, it was simply because he was a genius. Madara had awakened the Rinnegan near the end of his life, which meant he had about a decade or so of experimenting to master his use of the Rinnegan to the point of changing the forms in a mere blink of an eye.
Huo Yuhao concentrated, the crimson three-tomoe eyes above his brows trembled. The patterns began to shift into a more intricate blooming lotus flower—the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan!
It continued on shifting; the reddish hue color turned into a deep purple and black rings spread outward from the pupil.
The Rinnegan.
Almost instantly, like instinct, Huo Yuhao learned about the abilities he gained from the Rinnegan.
It was the same abilities he had as Madara and Sasuke. The core Six Paths, the Outer Path, Limbo, and Amenotejikara.
The Six Paths: Deva Path, Asura Path, Human Path, Animal Path, Preta Path, and Naraka Path.
The Outer Path: Control of the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path, creating chakra chains, and the Samsara of Heavenly Life Technique (revival).
Limbo: This jutsu creates invisible "shadows" of himself in Limbo, a parallel world that overlaps the physical one, with one shadow possible per Rinnegan up to a maximum of four. These shadows share Huo Yuhao's abilities, are untouchable by physical attacks, can attack or defend invisibly, including replacing him mid-attack, but must periodically return to him before being reformed.
Amenotejikara: It was similar to Xu Sanshi's fourth soul skill - Mystic Deep Replacement. It's classified as a space-time jutsu that lets Huo Yuhao shift between spaces, causing anything currently occupying the space he targets to swap places with him.
One might think that the Amenotejikara would be useless, considering his Absolute Domain skill, but Huo Yuhao quickly reasoned that it would be useful against certain beings.
After all no matter how godly the Absolute Domain was, it was still a skill under the laws of the world. His soul skills could be sealed by powerful beings the likes of Tang San and the Ice God through their Godly bullshit, but the Amenotejikara was part of his Rinnegan and would likely bypass their tricks.
Which is why he never thought about getting soul skills centered around combat, but amplifying his own techniques. Unfortunately, they were rare to get and random.
"Weird. The Asura Path seemed to be the same according to my memories, not the one from the Eye of Destiny." Huo Yuhao murmured, contemplating the change and quickly figured out the reason.
Back then, the Life Gold was only supposed to awaken the Eye of Life, but due to his dormant Ōtsutsuki bloodline it triggered a mutation. It caused the premature awakening of the Rinnegan on his forehead.
Huo Yuhao reasoned that since the Rinnegan absorbed some of the Life Gold and the essence of the Eye of Life, it caused its core techniques to change like the ability of the Asura Path.
After, life didn't like associating with machinary.
'Moreover, I never really explored the Eye of Destiny's Six Paths jutsus. What changes did the Life Gold do to my Rinnegan? Actually, did Masashi do something to the Eye of Destiny as well?'
Next came the Byakugan.
Honestly, the only useful thing about it was its X-Ray vision and supposed final evolution — Tenseigan. According to the accounts of Naruto, the dōjutsu was incredibly powerful; possibly even surpassing the Rinnegan in power but lacking in versatility.
The Tenseigan's evolutionary requirement was confusing, about an Ōtsutsuki needing the purest Byakugan from the Hyūga clan, so he'll put the Byakugan aside for now.
(AN: Just a bit of a sidenote, Huo Yuhao gets his info of the Byakugan from his life as Sasuke Uchiha and Sasuke got all of this from hearing it from Naruto so he doesn't really have all the information; like Toneri and Momoshiki. The next two eyes'(below) information came from self-analysis, so they're just basic knowledge for now.)
Now came the two anomalies: Jōgan and Kokugan.
The Jōgan has the basic abilities of the Byakugan, but what differentiates it from the latter was its Space-Time Ninjutsu and vision across dimensions. It can see through invisible dimensional barriers, predict their emergence, and automatically activates when high-level or otherwise undetectable threats are present.
Frankly speaking, its prowess aligned more with Space than with Time.
'What would happen if I were to use Absolute Domain with the Jōgan?' Huo Yuhao pondered, would its lethality and control over spatial energy increase even further?
The thought alone made his scalp tingle.
Absolute Domain was already a terrifying skill; absolute dominion over space within his line of sight, which is terrifying considering his gaze could cover almost the entire world!
His control was godly, but he was held back by his lacking understanding of Space.
Let's put it this way. With the teachings he received from Di Tian, his understanding of Space has reached the point of creating a miniature singularity(black hole) that could engulf a city like Shrek City in a few breaths.
And yet for the life of him, he still couldn't replicate the Spectral Demiplane that his teacher had left him.
The path of Space was truly mysterious and confusing.
The Jōgan, however, would change that fundamental weakness and broaden his knowledge.
Could it even let him access a passage to another world? Possibly even the Shinobi world?
He remembered one user of the Jōgan but...
Huo Yuhao furrowed his brows. 'I have memories of Boruto Ōtsutsuki having the Jōgan but... It's all fuzzy. Why did my past self, Sasuke, helped and mentored his best friend's killer? Why did my memories of Sasuke stopped after he confronted someone called Code?'
He shook his head.
Next came the Kokugan. A rare dōjutsu from the Ōtsutsuki that Huo Yuhao heard that only a couple of people had this kind of power.
It offered visual prowess similar to the Sharingan. But the Kokugan stood out due to its predominant techniques: Sukunahikona and Daikokuten.
Sukunahikona was a shinjutsu that allows the user to physically shrink down themselves and objects within their sight, even energy-based substances, though living beings other than the user cannot be affected.
The Daikokuten is a space-time shinjutsu that perfectly complemented Sukunahikona. It stores anything the user has previously shrunk using Sukunahikona within a dimension where time does not flow.
Anything stored there will remain in pristine condition and can instantaneously be retrieved at will.
'I could've used this to store mom's body.' Huo Yuhao immediately of numerous uses for such a ability. But he then thought about his mom.
He didn't know why he thought about her right now. Was it because he missed her dearly? While he does miss her, it isn't to the point of every time he gets a new ability.
He wasn't that much of a mommy's boy.
'What is this uneasy feeling?' His Byakugan lightly gleamed.
"Yuhao?"
"Hm?"
Huo Yuhao turned his head, all other eyes except the Byakugan were shut.
"...I need get used to that," Jianxin muttered with shudder. She shook her head and brought up her hands towards him.
"Here. The essences of both Star Anise Mysterious Ice Grass and Infernal Delicate Apricot."
The essences of both immortal herbs had the shape and size of an orange, but obviously of different colors. One was a chilly blue, crystalline and cold enough to frost the surrounding air, while the other burned with a gentle vermilion glow, heat rippling softly around it like a living flame.
Huo Yuhao accepted them without hesitation.
The moment his fingers closed around the two essences, to his surprise, the essences didn't bring forth any biting frost or searing heat. One felt like a regular ice ball while the other was as warm as a heated kettle.
"Thank you. Jianxin, Skydream." Huo Yuhao said, nodding at his friends.
Jianxin slightly smiled and cupped her hands. "May my blessings and fortune help you in your cultivation."
Skydream grinned and gave a thumbs up. "Good luck bro!"
Huo Yuhao smiled.
"Uh, hello?! Where's our thanks?!" On the corner, the plant bodies of Xiao Huo and Star Anise shivered. The former was the one who complained.
After offering their respective essence, they both looked weak and slightly withered.
Huo Yuhao ignored them. He took off his clothes, except his underwear, placing them in his storage space belt soul tool before placing said storage belt in the Daikokuten.
And without any hesitation, he jumped and submerged himself entirely in the Ice and Fire Yin-Yang Well Spring Waters.
The instant his body submerged beneath the Ice and Fire Yin–Yang Well Spring Waters, it began.
The frigid half of the well swallowed his right side, a bone-piercing chill drilling straight into his meridians, freezing soul power at its source. Simultaneously, the scorching half engulfed his left side, blazing heat flooding his veins like molten metal, threatening to incinerate everything in its path.
Even with his Ultimate Ice-Fire Physique, a tingling sensation courses throughout his body. It was slow at first but painful sensations of extreme heat and cold wrecked his body.
'As expected, it's completely different when I was baptized by the Ultimate Ice and Fire of my own powers. My physique is evolving!'
Huo Yuhao threw the Immortal Herbs' essences into his mouth, swallowing them.
He closed his eyes, closing off most of his senses. He got into a meditative position and started circulating the Heavenly Tempering Soul Technique, pulling the respective energies of the Immortal Herbs' essences and Ice and Fire Yin-Yang Well Spring Waters into his body in a more organized manner.
'I wonder, would the strange beings below this well would finally make a move?'
