Madam Wang sat alone in the living room, waiting for her children to return home from school. Thinking about what had happened earlier at the police station, her expression darkened, and she frowned deeply. 'That bitch! That bitch! That bitch!!!' "Mum, how about we tell the police that Yu Qi is the one who framed Dad?" Wang Fu Ya suggested.
A smile slowly formed on her face as she thought about her plan to shift the blame onto Yu Qi.
"I already said that to the police, but they did not believe me." Madam Wang said bitterly.
Wang Fu Ya's smile widened. She began to explain her plan in detail to her mother and sister. The two of them listened carefully, and as the plan unfolded, they began to feel excited.
"You are really smart, my daughter. Yu Qi will definitely go down this time." Madam Wang said as she held her daughter's hand, her eyes filled with approval.
"Yes, I think this plan will work perfectly." Wang Ha Na said, praising her sister.
However, deep in her heart, she felt a surge of resentment. Their mother had always shown favouritism toward her sister and brother. She wanted the plan to succeed because it could save their father, but at the same time, she did not want it to succeed because her sister would receive even more praise.
At the hospital
Yu Qi went to the room where Madam Sheng was staying. She gently pushed the door open and saw that Madam Sheng's daughter, Sheng Mi Yue, was already there. Yu Qi stepped forward and greeted her politely.
"Sister Mi Yue." Yu Qi said, bowing slightly.
Sheng Mi Yue nodded with a small smile. She had already heard about the incident earlier that morning when the police came looking for her mother.
"I'm sorry. Because of me, this happened to your mother. I'm truly sorry." Yu Qi said sincerely.
She then bowed deeply at a ninety-degree angle to Sheng Mi Yue.
Sheng Mi Yue quickly stepped forward and held Yu Qi by the shoulders, gently pulling her up to stand straight.
"Don't blame yourself. This was not your fault." Sheng Mi Yue said with a reassuring smile. "However, I do not want something like this to happen again. So, I plan to bring her to stay with me in S City."
"Okay. When will you take her?" Yu Qi asked.
She also believed that this was the best decision for Madam Sheng's safety.
"After she gets discharged. Maybe in two days." Sheng Mi Yue replied.
Feng Yue and Long Hui stood quietly at the side, not interrupting their conversation.
At that moment, Long Hui's phone began to ring. He picked up the call, and his expression changed slightly as he listened to the person on the other end. He only responded with a brief "yes" before ending the call.
"Yu Qi, something has happened. The police have requested that you go to the station again. Let's go now." Long Hui said, frowning slightly.
Yu Qi, however, was smiling faintly. She could already guess what was happening. The Wang Family was probably trying to turn the kidnappers' statements against her.
"Sister Mi Yue, I will visit again," Yu Qi said as she excused herself politely. Then she turned slightly. "Let's go."
