Chapter 11 - Chapter 11 - The First Awakening

Chapter 11 — The First Awakening

BOOOOOOOOOOM!!

The sky itself seemed to collapse.

The moment Reskin closed his fist, the floating battlefield twisted violently under impossible gravity pressure. Massive chunks of stone crashed downward like meteors while shattered academy towers crumbled into dust.

At the center of everything—

Varikon was slammed directly into the ground.

CRAAAAAAAAASH!!

A crater hundreds of meters wide exploded across the academy sector.

Shockwaves spread throughout the city.

Students screamed while emergency barriers flickered dangerously from the impact.

Even elite instructors were forced backward.

Silence followed.

Heavy.

Unbelieving silence.

Everyone stared toward the enormous crater where purple smoke slowly rose into the night sky.

Inside the floating debris above the battlefield, Reskin stood motionless surrounded by golden gravity currents.

His eyes glowed brightly.

And behind him—

For a brief moment—

A gigantic golden silhouette appeared.

Ancient.

Majestic.

Terrifying.

It resembled a colossal beast with celestial wings formed from stars themselves.

Several instructors immediately turned pale.

Professor Kaizen whispered shakily—

"…A soul manifestation."

Seraphina's golden eyes narrowed sharply.

"No…"

Her voice became quieter.

"That wasn't an ordinary manifestation."

Inside the crater below—

Purple energy suddenly exploded upward.

BOOOOOOM!!

Varikon burst out of the rubble violently.

His body looked damaged now.

Deep cracks spread across his armor-like skin while unstable gravity waves distorted around him uncontrollably.

But his eyes—

His eyes burned with excitement.

"Hahahahaha!!"

The monster laughed loudly despite the damage.

"YES!"

Purple energy exploded wildly around him.

"This is the power I searched for!"

Varikon stared at Reskin almost greedily now.

"You truly inherited his divine core!"

Inside Reskin's mind, Bali's voice sounded unusually serious.

"That was dangerous."

Reskin breathed heavily.

His entire body hurt.

Bones.

Muscles.

Meridians.

Everything felt like it was tearing apart from inside.

"What happened to me just now?"

"You partially awakened my sealed authority."

Cold chills spread through Reskin instantly.

"That wasn't even full power?"

"No."

Bali's voice became heavier.

"And your body nearly collapsed after using it for only seconds."

Reskin suddenly coughed blood.

His vision blurred briefly.

Right.

His body still couldn't fully handle Bali's strength.

Meanwhile, Varikon slowly stabilized himself within the crater.

Purple energy spiraled around his damaged chest violently.

Its artificial gravity core flickered irregularly now.

"You injured him," Bali said calmly.

"But not enough."

Varikon suddenly raised one claw toward the sky.

Dark gravity storms gathered instantly above the academy.

Purple lightning crashed repeatedly across the clouds.

The atmosphere became horrifying.

"You still refuse evolution, Bali?" the monster growled.

"Even now?"

Its body expanded further.

Additional armor plates covered his chest while monstrous wings formed behind his back from pure gravity energy.

The pressure doubled again.

Several injured instructors collapsed immediately.

"This creature keeps evolving…" Kaizen muttered in disbelief.

Seraphina tightened her grip on her spear.

"If this continues, the academy barriers will fail."

And if that happened—

The nearby cities would become exposed too.

Thousands more civilians would die.

Varikon slowly spread his monstrous wings.

"Humans are weak because they fear transformation."

Purple gravity spiraled violently around him.

"But I embraced perfection."

BOOOOOOOM!!

The monster released another massive gravity wave.

This time—

Entire academy sectors lifted off the ground.

Buildings floated upward uncontrollably.

Students screamed as debris filled the skies.

Reskin's eyes widened.

"He's going to destroy everything!"

"Then stop him," Bali answered immediately.

"But carefully."

The ancient GOD-HORSIKEN's voice became colder.

"If you release too much power now, your meridians may permanently collapse."

Reskin looked toward the chaos around him.

Seraphina and the instructors struggled just protecting evacuation zones.

Meanwhile, Varikon grew stronger every minute.

There wasn't much time left.

Suddenly—

Varikon disappeared again.

BOOOOOM!!

The monster appeared directly before Reskin mid-air.

Its claw shot toward his chest instantly.

Reskin barely reacted in time.

Gravity Erase activated.

WHOOSH!!

The world slowed dramatically.

But unlike before—

Varikon still moved fast.

Too fast.

CRASH!!

Reskin blocked using compressed gravity around his arms, but the impact still launched him across the battlefield violently.

He crashed through three floating buildings before stopping.

Pain exploded through his body.

"Your control improved," Varikon admitted while floating above the battlefield.

Purple gravity storms circled around him like living hurricanes.

"But your body remains human."

The monster smiled cruelly.

"And humans break."

BOOOOOM!!

Another gravity blast exploded toward Reskin.

This time Seraphina intercepted instantly.

"Silver Heaven Domain!"

Silver energy barriers expanded across the battlefield, splitting the incoming attack apart.

But even she slid backward from the pressure.

Blood dripped from her arm now.

Varikon laughed.

"You protect him desperately."

Its eyes narrowed slightly.

"Interesting."

Seraphina pointed her spear directly toward the monster.

"He's my student."

For some reason—

Those words hit Reskin unexpectedly hard.

Student.

No one had ever claimed him like that before.

No family.

No teacher.

No place.

Yet despite only meeting him today—

Seraphina stood before an ancient monster protecting him without hesitation.

Inside his mind, Bali quietly observed his emotions.

"Careful."

"What?"

"You are becoming attached."

Reskin almost wanted to argue.

But honestly—

Maybe he already was.

Varikon suddenly raised both arms.

Purple gravity compressed violently above the academy.

The clouds twisted unnaturally.

Then—

A gigantic black sphere formed in the sky.

Students below stared upward in horror.

"That thing…"

"It's huge…"

The sphere continued growing until it resembled a miniature moon hanging above the academy.

Even Seraphina's expression changed completely.

"That attack…"

Kaizen looked horrified.

"If it falls…"

The academy city would disappear completely.

Varikon spread his wings proudly.

"This world will witness true evolution."

The giant gravity sphere trembled above the sky.

Then slowly—

Started descending.

BOOOOOOOOOOM!!

Everything beneath it collapsed instantly.

Buildings shattered under pressure alone.

Students screamed desperately while instructors reinforced evacuation barriers with everything they had.

But it wasn't enough.

The attack was too large.

Too powerful.

Reskin stared upward breathing heavily.

"How do we stop THAT?!"

Bali answered immediately.

"You already know."

Reskin froze slightly.

Because deep down—

He did know.

Gravity against gravity.

He slowly clenched his fists.

Golden energy flickered violently around his body again.

"Your meridians will suffer severe damage," Bali warned.

"If I don't stop it, everyone dies."

Silence.

Then Bali answered quietly—

"…Correct."

Reskin slowly floated upward into the sky.

Toward the falling gravity sphere.

Toward impossible pressure.

Toward certain danger.

Below him, Seraphina's eyes widened.

"Reskin!"

But he kept moving forward.

Golden soul energy surrounded his body while Gravity Erase expanded further than ever before.

WHOOSH.

The world slowed.

The gigantic sphere above him became clearer.

He could feel its unstable gravity layers rotating violently.

Bali spoke calmly.

"Do not overpower it directly."

"Then what?"

"Control it."

Reskin stared upward.

Then slowly raised both hands toward the descending sphere.

Golden gravity currents spiraled around him.

At first—

Nothing happened.

Then—

The sphere slowed slightly.

Varikon's expression changed immediately.

"What?"

Reskin gritted his teeth.

Veins bulged across his arms.

The pressure felt unimaginable.

Like holding an entire mountain with bare hands.

Blood dripped from his nose.

His meridians screamed painfully.

But slowly…

Very slowly…

The giant sphere stopped falling.

The entire academy stared upward in disbelief.

"He stopped it…"

"A student stopped THAT?!"

Varikon's eyes widened with fury.

"IMPOSSIBLE!"

Purple gravity intensified around the sphere again.

The weight increased instantly.

Reskin screamed from pain.

CRACK!!

One of his meridians fractured.

Blood exploded from his mouth.

"RESKIN!" Seraphina shouted desperately.

Inside his mind, Bali's voice remained calm.

"Focus."

Golden energy expanded around Reskin violently.

Gravity Erase reached its limit.

Everything around him froze completely.

The floating debris.

The lightning.

Even sound itself disappeared.

Inside that silent world—

Reskin finally understood.

Gravity wasn't simply force.

It was control.

Balance.

Movement.

Connection.

Slowly—

He redirected the sphere's rotation.

Varikon's eyes widened in horror.

"No—!"

BOOOOOOOOOOM!!

The gigantic gravity sphere suddenly shot upward into the sky instead of downward.

Straight toward the clouds.

Toward space.

Then—

It exploded.

A massive black-and-golden shockwave illuminated the entire night sky like a second moon.

For several seconds—

Everyone stood speechless beneath the glowing heavens.

Then suddenly—

Reskin's golden aura vanished completely.

His body fell lifelessly from the sky.
