Kara flopped in her bed. She was tired. She fell instantly to sleep. She woke to the sounds of birds outside singing. Yawning, she stretched and got up. She was hungry. She needed to get to her breakfast. Class would start at eight am. She grabbed her fob. It was still warm. She grabbed her uniform. "Take me to the canteen." She said to the fob.
Outside, there were bicycles parked everywhere. She scanned her fob on a bicycle. She pedaled after the flying fob. Kara arrived at a building, and the fragrance of food was wafting from it. She hurried over, scanning her fob, which led her inside. She took a deep sniff, it smelled SOOO good. She followed her fellow students and her fob to the eating area of the canteen.
"Oh, hot cakes!" Kara's eyes sparkled, mmm. She picked up a tray, a plate, a glass, a fork, a spoon, and a knife. She poured pulpy orange juice. She added scrambled eggs, bacon, a fruit cup, and toast.
She sat down and feasted. Kara watched as time ticked quickly away. She needed to hurry. She hurriedly finished all her food until she was full. Kara watched as her fob pantomimed to hurry, that she would be late for class. It had already evolved into a tiny robot in silver.
Ok, ok. She hurried out, hopping onto the bicycle again. This time, following the fob to her class. She saw that Mr. Grey and Mrs. Kale were in the front of the class. She could see that most of the students were already there; she had just made it before the bell. She was so glad they had survived like her. She sat down at her desk.
"Good, good! As soon as everyone is here, we will take you to visit the RWS units." Mrs Kale said.
Kara remembered the girl she talked to last night, who mentioned there was a red one, Valkyrie. She was curious.
A few more students trickled in. " OK, great, everyone's here! Let's go!" She led them to a building nearby, where a robotic suit stood. It was huge! Valkyrie was indeed red with golden tips. It had a gigantic size for larger enemies and a smaller size version. The smaller size was more form-fitting, looking more like a metal bathing suit. How was that supposed to protect anyone?
"We are currently looking for individuals with resonance with the suits. The higher the resonance, the higher the probability that you won't be rejected by the RWS suit." Mrs. Kale continued.
"Today starts your combat training. We have cyber pods that will virtually train you. It has the latest cultivation and martial art techniques. See which ones are suggested to you by our AI." Mrs. Kale began.
"You have to choose the techniques that best suit your abilities. We will also be taking samples of your blood to test your DNA and genetic makeup with our RWS units." Mr. Grey interjected.
A cultivation library, hmmm? Wait, did my DNA change, or is it the same? Kara wondered if she could find something interesting or if the system would find something.
