Back at the Leaf
The week in which Naruto had been missing, Hiruzen had been in an absolute rage, he hid it well. The boy he promised to protect and thought of as his own grandson had gone missing.
As for those villagers who were the cause of the situation, they had already been dealt with.
There was something fishy going on with this situation. Someone had to have been behind this. During the investigation of Naruto's situation, on site, there had been slight traces of minor genjutsu present in the vicinity, meaning that they had to have been put under a genjutsu that enhanced there aggression.
Which is where they must have gotten there confidence from, even knowing that I would have them all killed for such an act. It all smelt of conspiracy. Hiruzen thought
Although there was no proof, Hiruzen had the faintest idea of the culprit. But it had to be saved and confronted for later. Naruto was the most important thing now.
So Hiruzen sent all of his ANBU forces and some trustworthy jonin to scour the entire area of the hidden leaf village and its outskirts, almost reaching the borders. Even before the end of the week though, he still found nothing, so he tried to occupy his time to stop his raging emotions.
One thing that really almost pushed him though was the council, especially the civilian council. As compared to the village clan heads of the council, the civilian council were more ecstatic and happy at the disappearance of the Demon kid, there hatred for Naruto apparent.
They even wanted to create a special public holiday in honor of his disappearance and hopefully, subsequent death, much to the hokage's fury, but as always, he hid it well. He sent a bit of killing intent there way just to shut them up.
The village heads were neutral in this matter as they didn't see the worth in a missing child other than the power he held within his body. Typical power hungry fools.
The 3 elders of the council, just below the hokages authority, were also quiet on the matter, they showed no change to there expressions, other than the usual comment of losing there hidden weapon and such.
Hiruzen had had enough of these meaningless quarrels between the council, clan heads and elders. It was tiring, oh so tiring.
Hiruzen had also gotten recent reports on the matter of Naruto and his current lifestyle, and when he read the reports by Kakashi, who was the new ANBU watch for Naruto as of his recent birthday gone.
He, along with his accomplice Yugao had sniffed out everything they could about Naruto and his lifestyle. And they were shocked, as was Hiruzen, as this information was new to him and if he had found out earlier about it he honestly would have taken Naruto back, with or without the approval of the council.
It was horrible, absolutely atrocious. A boy at 2 - 3. Kicked out of every store in the village wether it be for food, clothing, toys, even the library wouldn't let him in, let alone walk up to its door without getting beaten to a pulp.
He was getting some money from Hiruzen at the time so he could buy whatever he could afford at the time. He was also ,quite tall for a 2 - 3 year old kid. Benefits of living in a chakra infested world.
Apparently he had been abused a lot as well by mostly all of the villagers. This was unbelievable. Hiruzen had a look of regret, sadness, guilt, and other negative emotions. He would have to fix this before Naruto came back. First off kill that matron for selling Naruto out to the raging villagers.
And that was just the first of many changes that occurred in the village about a day before Naruto was set to return.
Ichiraku Ramen
The store of the gods, the holy land of ramen and the only place other than the hokages residence to treat him genuinely.
Naruto had made his way back to the village without a hitch. He could easily sneak back in without anyone noticing as he knew every entrance, exit and secret entrance into the leaf.
The barrier surrounding the village would have picked up something, but because it came from a familiar route of entry, and the chakra signature that they scanned for didn't show any differences from there records of cleared individuals, he was good for now anyway.
"One pork miso ramen please, Old man", I say with a look of excitement on my face at getting to eat this godly food again.
"Ahhhh, Naruto"!!! the Old man Teuchi and his daughter Ayame exclaimed in shock.
"What, is there something on my face". I ask confused.
"What happened to you. Where have you been. The Hokage's gone mad looking for you.". this was Ayame. I guess they know I went missing.
"How did you guys find out I was gone anyway. I didn't think anyone would notice". I ask curiously. Hiruzen wouldn't have told anyone as it might alert hidden spies in the village.
"The villagers have been talking about it, apparently someone was spreading rumors on the matter. At first we didn't believe them, but you hadn't been coming by for about a week now so we started getting concerned". Old man Teuchi said with a concerned look on his face, as did Ayame.
(They really were very nice people, especially to me). thought Naruto with sincerity.
"Anyway Old man, lets not talk about that. The good thing is I'm back now and I've been dying for your ramen since its been so long". I say with drool coming out of my mouth.
"Hahahaha, alright then, today your foods on the house as a celebratory gift. I'll let you eat as much as you want to as well." the old man said with enthusiasm, followed by Ayame. They truly are wonderful people.
I spent a good half hour digesting all the ramen I had eaten. It was the best.
Suddenly, the curtains to the shop opened and 2 figures, a man and women I was presuming, dressed in ANBU gear came in and stood right behind me. The man had a dog mask on while the women had a cat mask.
The women suddenly spoke up as Teuchi was busy in the back of the kitchen so he didn't notice the new arrivals.
"Naruto Uzumaki, the Hokage would like to see you, come with us". the women said and went to grab my shoulder.
"If you touch me, I'll break your hand and shatter all the bones in your arm". I suddenly say with a cold tone, not even looking back at them.
I release a bit of the Nine Tails killing intent without asking him but he'll forgive me I think. It was enough though as the desired effect was achieved.
Kakashi and Yugao stood there shocked. Naruto, a boy of 4 years had a massive amount lof killing intent aimed at them and they could barely breath.
Yugao took a step back as I continued speaking.
"I assume you are the new ANBU assigned to look after me from the shadows correct". I point out to them.
"Yes we are. We were sent here by the hokage as he had been informed by the survey corps that the barrier went off in one of the points of entry to the village that only few know of, including you". Kakashi said, still a little shocked at the me now.
"So he sensed my chakra I'm guessing and sent you 2 to get me and bring me in".
"Correct as well, now could you please come with us, the Hokage really has been worried about you". Kakashi said with a hint of guilt in his voice but his facial expression was hidden well so I may not have noticed were my senses any less sharper than they use to be.
"Hah, relax kakashi, I'm almost at the Hokage tower". poof.
"WHAT!!!". the 2 ANBU exclaim in shock. They now realized they were talking with a clone. And they didn't even notice.
"When did he-. Yugao
"I don't know, but if what he says is true, we need to move. Lets go" Kakashi
The Hokage Tower
"So this is where the old man works. Its bigger compared to looking at it from a distance".
I walk into the office and move straight past the receptionist at the front counter. I didn't want to waste anytime so I released some chakra, so she wouldn't follow me.
I walk up to the door where I could feel Hiruzen was. On the other side, the Hokage was working.
"Time to make a scene, just a little".
I knock on the door.
"Enter". is all I get as a response. Guess he might of thought it was the receptionist or something.
"Old man, we need to talk". I suddenly make my presence known.
This one sentence prompted the Hokages neck to snap up and look in my direction. Guess he was too focused, he didn't realize it was me till I spoke.
"Naruto!!!?" Hiruzen said, shocked.
"The one and only. Why so shocked Old man". I say with an amused smirk.
"Well...I...uh, ahem Yes. I did. I sent 2 ANBU to collect you and bring you here. May I ask where they are". Hiruzen said with a glance, although I could feel the happiness and relief on him. Didn't need to be a sensor to sense that.
"I gave them the slip, but they should be here soon".
"I see". Hiruzen
"Naruto, where have you been, what happened to you, I looked everywhere for you". the old man went on to ask me a few more questions and I answered them as close to the truth as I could. I'll keep somethings on the down low.
A few minutes later'
2 ANBU appeared out of nowhere in front of the Hokage and me. I was on the couch to the side with a timer, while Hiruzen was at his desk looking out to the village with his pipe in his mouth.
"Not bad, you made excellent time though given my head start". I say
"Agreed". Hiruzen
"Lord Hokage, we seem to have underestimated this child, by alot". Kakashi stated.
"It seems we have". Hiruzen said.
Before we continue Old man, could you get rid of your ANBU you got hiding in the roof and other areas of your office". I say
Looks like there shocked again, all of them, even the ANBU hiding were shocked at being found out by a little 4 year old kid.
"Naruto, how did you-. I cut Hiruzen off there and say.
"Ah, ANBU first".
"Fine". With that, the ANBU in the office had vanished, except-
"There". I move at a relatively fast speed. I went behind a bookshelf in the left hand corner of the office.
"So your the rat Danzo had planted in the office of the Hokage". I say.
"Kakashi, Yugao!!!Restrain him!!!" At that though it was already too late. He had already killed himself.
Poison
"You better keep an eye out old man, Danzo might be gunning for you sooner or later"
"I'll keep that in mind Naruto, you want to tell me how you got this information" Hiruzen asked.
"Secret" I say
"Fair enough". "So what else did you want to talk about Naruto, since you made me dismiss my ANBU" Hiruzen.
"I want my Inheritance Old man". At this point everyone present, Yugao, Kakashi and especially Hiruzen were all shaken to hear this. Hiruzen tried to play it off and act dumb. So he said.
"I d-don't know w-what your talking about Naruto". nice, play it cool.
"My Namikaze and Uchiha Inheritances". And at this point, Kakashi and Yugao were about to pass out from shock, especially Kakashi as he knew what this meant.
I knew... Everything.
"As my parents were "The Yellow Flash" - Minato Namikaze and "The Red Death - Kushina Uzumaki. I have the right to take ownership of both these inheritances as there is no living Uzumaki left to date and as my father was the founder of his own clan, he is its only member aside from me and my mother.
"Therefore, by all rights, I am the last heir to not 1, but 2 prominent clans, agreed".
And they all fainted.
