"No wonder..." Bai Xifeng let out a long, slow breath. Then she grinned, a deeply dangerous, predatory grin. "You injured me so many times yesterday only because I could not see you."
Her hand slowly and deliberately reached for her trusted dagger.
"But now..." Bai Xifeng's eyes remained firmly closed, her internal senses locking onto the battlefield. "I can see every single one of you."
The grin on her face widened further. "I wonder how you're going to hurt me now."
Without a single word of warning, Bai Xifeng shot forward like an arrow released from a bow. Her heightened senses locked onto the nearest shadow creature.

Her dagger cut cleanly through its smoky neck, and the shadow creature collapsed instantly into dust. Before its body even touched the ground, Bai Xifeng had already pivoted and blurred toward the second one.
