After four continuous hours of travelling at breathtaking speeds, the grand outlines of the Capital City finally appeared in the distance. As they neared the massive gates, the group began to slow down slightly.
"Should we stop here and walk the rest of the way into the city on foot?" Xie Yanlin asked, reining in his mount.
Whenever they travelled, they usually stopped a short distance outside a town or city to send their contracted beasts back into their beast spaces before calmly walking through the gates on foot to avoid causing a scene.
