One week later…
Kanak and Pihu are coming out of their college gate after classes.
Students are all around them, talking and laughing.
Kanak is walking quietly, and Pihu is talking about random things.
Suddenly Kanak stops.
Her eyes go toward the front of the gate.
Someone is standing there.
It is Vihaan.
He is standing and looking straight at her… like he is waiting only for her.
Kanak gets scared.
"This… what is he doing here…" she says slowly.
Pihu looks at her.
"What happened?" she asks.
But before Kanak can answer, Vihaan starts walking toward them.
Kanak steps back slowly.
Her face shows fear.
Pihu notices everything.
"Kanak… who is he?" Pihu asks softly.
Vihaan comes close and stops in front of Kanak.
Kanak lowers her eyes.
She is scared.
Vihaan looks at her and says in a cold voice,
"I will destroy you and your family."
Kanak looks up in shock.
Vihaan continues,
"If you don't want this to happen, then come and meet me."
He takes out a card from his coat pocket.
He holds Kanak's hand for a second and puts the card in her hand.
Kanak's hands are shaking.
Then Vihaan leaves from there without saying anything more.
Kanak stands there like she cannot move.
Pihu quickly holds her shoulders.
"Kanak!"
Kanak looks at her slowly.
"Who was he?" Pihu asks.
"And why did he say all this?"
Kanak does not understand anything.
She looks confused and scared.
Without answering, she suddenly turns and starts walking fast.
"Kanak! Wait!" Pihu calls her.
But Kanak does not stop.
She runs toward her home.
Pihu stands there watching her.
She is confused.
"What is happening…" she says to herself.
Kanak reaches home and goes straight to her room.
She closes the door.
She sits on her bed.
Her hands are still shaking.
She looks at the card.
"Why is he after me…" she thinks.
"Why did he say he will destroy me and my family…"
Tears come into her eyes.
She lies down but cannot sleep.
The whole night she keeps turning on the bed.
She feels scared.
Next morning…
Kanak wakes up but she does not go to college.
She is afraid.
"What if he comes again…" she thinks.
One day passes.
Then another.
Two days go by.
Kanak does not go to college.
On the other side…
Vihaan is waiting for her.
But when she does not come, he understands.
"She is scared," he says.
He finds out from the college that Kanak has not come for two days.
Vihaan knows now that she is avoiding him.
But he does not stop.
He still remembers the slap.
"I will not leave this," he says.
So he plans something.
Next day…
Kanak's brother Aman loses his job.
The company says he leaked important documents.
Aman says again and again,
"I am innocent… I didn't do anything…"
But no one listens.
Police come and take him.
Kanak is shocked.
"Bhai!" she cries.
Her parents are also in shock.
But Kanak stays strong.
"Don't worry… everything will be fine," she tells them.
Then she hugged her parent in despair
Next day…
Some men come to their house.
They give papers to Kanak's father.
"This property is illegal," they say.
"You have to leave this place."
Kanak's father is shocked.
"This is our house… we have lived here for years," he says.
But the men say,
"You have 10 days to leave."
"If you don't leave, we will remove you."
They go away.
Kanak's father starts crying.
"One son is in jail… and now we will lose our house…"
"Where will we go…"
Kanak's mother also starts crying.
Kanak feels helpless.
Suddenly her phone rings.
She answers.
"Hello…?"
A voice comes.
"Yes… did you recognize me?"
Kanak gets scared.
It is Vihaan.
"I told you… I will destroy you."
Kanak's voice shakes.
"So all this… you did this?"
"Why are you doing this to me… what did we do to you?"
Vihaan says calmly,
"You can fix everything… if you want."
Kanak stays silent.
"Come and meet me," he says.
Then he cuts the call.
Kanak slowly lowers her phone.
Tears fall from her eyes.
She just stands there silently…
not knowing what to do next.
