Jasmine Yale looked panicked. In the past, she wouldn't have been worried about anything because the Sylvan Cheney she knew was rational and steady.
What about now?
Jasmine felt a sudden fright, cold sweat seeping from her back. She reached out to grab the steering wheel from him!
Sylvan glanced over coldly, quickly pushing her hand away, and said blandly, "You're overthinking this!"
Jasmine let out a breath, her long eyelashes trembling, retracting her hand with an inexplicable look in her eyes.
She twisted her hands nervously, looking at him with unease, "Where are you taking me?"
"Somewhere without people."
"What? Why are you taking me to a place with no people? Sylvan Cheney, calm down! We're just breaking up, can't we do it amicably?"
Sylvan didn't respond.
"Sylvan Cheney, you won't do anything to my baby, right?" Jasmine guarded her stomach, looking at him warily.
Although he was a bit agitated, his driving remained stable, without any sudden surges or drops.
