"Got it." Jasmine Yale nodded knowingly, "Don't tell him I called you."
Kade Yuvan was momentarily stunned, then chuckled softly, "Understood."
"What's so funny?"
"Nothing, nothing." Kade laughed even harder.
"I won't waste your time, Assistant Yuvan. Go ahead and get back to work." Jasmine huffed, not understanding what made him laugh.
During lunch, Jasmine was distracted.
She couldn't figure out where Sylvan Cheney got the energy to socialize until late at night and still have the strength to lead a meeting in the morning.
Nothing anyone said could persuade him otherwise; she'd never seen someone so excessive.
