Three days later.
Jasmine Yale unexpectedly received a call from Yukon Carbon.
She was taking a walk in the park, and when she got the call, it felt like ages had passed; she was dazed for a moment.
Yukon Carbon hadn't contacted her in a long time.
"Jasmine."
"I'm here," Jasmine Yale responded.
The voice on the other end sounded a bit weary and tired, and Jasmine felt a pang in her heart.
"It's been a long time since I called you. My phone... was taken away by the attending doctor, saying that it affects my rest," Yukon Carbon chuckled softly, "I secretly took it today to make a call."
"Listen to the doctor well, do whatever they say, get plenty of rest, don't overwork," Jasmine quickly said.
"I know, I know, it's just that I haven't contacted you in a while, and I was afraid you'd worry."
"I'm sorry, Yukon, I..."
"Shh," Yukon Carbon said softly, "Don't mention that, it'll upset me."
