Lady Minister of Works smiled and said, "You all jest, then go ahead and search."
"These are descendants of traitors; my residence as the Lady Minister of Works cannot hide them. That's a beheading matter."
"Don't say such things lightly, my residence cannot withstand such claims."
The Imperial Forest Army began their search, digging thoroughly and extensively.
Lady Minister of Works saw them nearing the secret chamber. They were almost there, but she thought it wouldn't be found. The chamber was very concealed, even knocking on it wouldn't reveal it as hollow. She was quite confident.
Lady Minister of Works held a cup of tea.
"Come, open this for me," commanded a Deputy General of the Imperial Guards. He wasn't easily fooled, he had keen eyesight.
Lady Minister of Works watched, eyebrows tightly knit. If it were opened, they would be exposed, and the whole family would be implicated for harboring criminals—a grave charge.
What should be done?
