Arriving at the hospital, Summer accompanied Celeste to bandage and treat his wounds, staying with him in the hospital room as if she were tending to a patient.
Celeste didn't mind at all; in fact, he comforted her instead, "It's okay, don't worry, I'll be fine by tomorrow. When I was young with Ethan, Caleb, we did this kind of stuff all the time. Dad and Uncle trained us like this, no big deal."
"Mm." Summer nodded slightly, concerned as she asked, "Are you hungry? I can go get dinner for you."
"Sure, thank you." Celeste smiled at her, and then Summer opened the door and walked out.
As she exited the room, Ethan happened to be there as well.
He seemed somewhat worried, his gaze inconspicuously fixed on the room.
Summer saw him and was slightly taken aback.
She thought he wouldn't care.
"If you care, why were you so rough earlier?" Her face slowly lifted, her eyes carrying a hint of reproach.
"He was after my woman!" Ethan's gaze turned cold, his eyes becoming fierce again.
