Summer Ford walked over a few steps to sit opposite him, casually served herself a bowl of soup.
Tasting a mouthful, she lifted her face, saying suddenly, "I'm going out in a bit!"
"Hmm." Ethan Laurent responded to her lightly.
As if he remembered something, he added, "I'll take you."
Summer Ford was slightly stunned, her lips curved, "Okay."
Ethan Laurent's villa is great in every way: the location, the design. It's just that without a car, getting around can be a bit inconvenient.
If he's willing to take her, it would save her a lot of trouble.
The two of them finished the meal simply, Ethan Laurent was the first to get in the car, starting it while waiting for her.
Summer Ford opened the car door and got in, naturally sitting by his side.
"Where to?" Ethan Laurent asked casually.
"To the office."
Ethan Laurent's hand holding the steering wheel stiffened.
Glancing sideways at her, he raised an eyebrow, "Going to the office at this time?"
