"Sis, I'm heading out."
On Friday evening, Yuan Zhao bent down, hoisted his backpack, and dragged his suitcase. He turned to bid farewell to his cousin, who had accompanied him to the door.
Yuan Yuan scrutinized his fully-equipped appearance and asked again, "Did you pack everything?"
"Yeah, I've got it all. Don't worry."
Yuan Zhao grinned and gave a thumbs-up. He looked like he was about to head off on a school field trip, full of youthful sunshine.
Yuan Yuan sighed. He sure didn't seem very reliable. "What about the keys Uncle gave you?"
"They're in my pocket too."
Yuan Zhao patted his pocket. "It's just a trip. I might not even have to do anything there, so don't worry about me, Sis."
Yuan Yuan didn't say anything.
