Each of my men fingers snapped. Simultaneously invoking spells. With them a young man stands in front with a smug face facing me while I was sitting right there outnumbered and defenseless.
"So this was your plan all along Kite."
"Don't get me wrong I didn't want to do this, Alex."
"Shut up bastard! Betraying the group then and now my guild! I'll never forgive you!"
"Oh? Okay. Finish him off."
After the command all of the spells was thrown right at me. Hot. I feel incredibly hot not from the fire spells but from my heart. I feel a burning sensation maybe from anger? I don't know really but as I contemplate my body is beginning to roast.
"All right, Let's stop now. He's finished." Kite said while laughing like a maniac.
Four months had pass since the incident. It was news for a relatively long time in the Kaster Kingdom. The "Phoenix" is dead. No one really believed the rumors until his guild announced his death to the public.
"What happened here?"
"Damn, this is a lot worse than I thought." The detectives looked at the burnt body laying on the ground. While inspecting it one of them found a badge.
"Dean, Look it seems this person is a member of the Phoenix Guild." He looked at his partner while showing the victim's badge.
"This is happening a lot lately. To make things worse almost all the victims are high ranking persons and we only got one clue. All the victims has "Sol" carved on all the victims palm."
"'Sol', huh? I guess trouble is coming to the kingdom after all."
