There is something to be said for shared activities.

Noah and Alexander chose to anchor a Second Scale torturer with nine spears while one of them systematically activated every pain receptor in his body across millions of years of subjective suffering.

The point is that one must make time for hobbies. Existence is long, particularly when one possesses Infinity, and the relationships that sustain a being across eons are not built through grand declarations or dramatic oaths alone.
