Two weeks before Althaea's sixth birthday and everything changed as two people came to visit the orphanage looking to adopt a child. They were Recovery girl and Nezu who are looking to adopt a child that will be able to help Recovery girl with her job until she retires. The director of the orphanage introduced many children and none of them was what they were looking for. Nezu then noticed Althaea reading in the corner of the room and approached her to see what she was reading.
"Hello child what are you reading about?" Nezu asked calmly standing by Althaea side.
"Medicine and how it affects the body. " Althaea replied not looking up from her book.
"Do you have a interest in becoming a doctor one day?" Nezu asked growing more intrigued by Althaea as the seconds passed.
"I suppose that would be acceptable. however my power is only just getting stronger and I am almost done with this book." Althaea replied sadly finally looking up at Nezu and noticed that he was not an orphanage staff member.
"I'm sorry I didn't realize that you were not a staff member." Althaea said calmly meeting Nezu's gaze.
"That is quite alright. I am Nezu, what is your name child?" Nezu asked Althaea who was calmly looking at him.
"My name is Althaea Yukimura, and you can call me Althaea." Althaea replied calmly and noticed Recovery girl in the background.
"I would like to adopt you Althaea would you like that?" Nezu asked.
"Yes Nezu sir. I would like you to adopt me if that is what you want to do. " Althaea said.
"Then it is settled. You will be coming back to UA with us. " Nezu said with a smile.
The orphanage director was suprised by the child Nezu chose and soon the paper work was finished and by then it was late and Althaea had packed up and was ready to leave for her new home.
The three were in a car making there way to UA when a growling sound was herd and Nezu looked back at Althaea.
"You sound hungry. What do you want to eat?" Nezu asked as he looked at Althaea.
"Some onigeri please." Althaea replied.
"Sounds good. let's go." Recovery girl sad as she took a small detour to a convenience store and then they went to UA. After arriving Recovery girl walked into the house, lead Althaea to her room after Althaea was done washing up and had dried off was she tucked into bed. She was so tired that she soon fell into a dreamless sleep.
