( Yuuki's POV )
After cutting off one of Vali's wings, I took my distance and observed him carefully.
He had some difficulty getting to his feet, but his expression was full of determination to continue; I must admit I admired that a little.
Yuuki: The one-winged white dragon, doesn't that sound like a memorable name?
Vali: Hmph, I have no interest in that title.
Yuuki: You know what the problem is with people like you, your fights end too quickly, you lack experience and the repertoire of attacks that someone at your level should have.
Vali: What happens to the advice in the middle of the fight? Can't you control your teacherly habits? I have more in my repertoire; maybe I should show you my juggernaut mode.
Alvion: [ Stop, Vali! Stop things while you have the chance! ]
Yuuki: Still very confident, huh? Maybe I should show you the difference between us, so you can finally calm you down.
I threw Vali's wing into my storage and then I began my dragon transformation, a huge sphere of fire formed around me and when it dissipated I appeared in my dragon form, for everyone except the young devils and the members of our kingdom, this was the first time they had seen me completely transformed, and that caused surprise.
The barrier was trembling just from my presence, and I felt it wasn't going to last much longer, but Vali only seemed more willing to fight; I charged a powerful Cero to incapacitate Vali with one blow.
Vali also tried to gather energy, although it took him some effort, but before we could act, rhe barrier around us broke and a new contender fall from the sky and landed next to Vali.
I stopped charging my attack because without the barrier I could destroy half the city, just like Azazel said.
Vali: Bikou, what are you doing here?
Bikou: Sorry to interrupt, but it's time to retreat. New orders: we're not to touch that guy.
Yuuki: [ as if I were going to let you. ]
The guy Vali identified as Bikou, after saying I was an untouchable target, tried to escape, I reached out to catch them, but at that moment four powerful energy blasts came towards me.
I blocked with all four of my hands and when Vali and his partner disappeared, a small girl with an expressionless face, long black hair and strange clothing appeared in their place.
My instincts immediately told me that this was not a girl but a dragon, and she was infinitely more dangerous than she appeared, but I felt no hostility from her, my instincts screamed caution and at the same time safety.
I decided to take my chances and deactivated my dragon form to speak to the girl in a more cordial manner.
Yuuki: You're a dragon, aren't you the leader Ophis that Azazel mentioned?
Ophis: Um. That's my name. You're strong.
Yuuki: My name is actually Yuuki, but you can call me whatever you like.
The dragon girl didn't react to my attempt at a joke and she continued without showing any emotion. I had experience with people like her, so at least I knew she wasn't bothered by my attitude.
Ophis: If you're strong, then will you join us?
Yuuki: Hmm? Where did that jump in logic come from?
Ophis: Other strong people have come to ask to join us.
With that brief exchange of words, I realized that this powerful creature was someone socially inept, but in an almost endearing way that made me question whether she was really the leader of this terrorist organization.
Yuuki: I have no intention of joining another faction or group, but ask me again later; maybe I'll change my mind.
Ophis: ...um I'll come later then.
The dragon girl left as suddenly as she appeared, but I had a feeling I would see her again soon.
After that, I had another conversation with the faction leaders who were surprised by the casual way I spoke with the powerful Uroboros dragón, But putting that aside, the peace talks fulfilled their purpose and with the appearance of the Khaos brigade there were no members of the three factions who raised protests.
With that sorted, all that's left is to go home.
/////////////////////////
I was planning to leave after the summit between the three factions, but now I've decided to stay a little longer to take necessary measures against the Khaos Brigade.
One of the first things on that list of preparations was to pay a visit to the territory of the angels, I left the mansion early in the morning and headed towards the abandoned church in the city, and as soon as that was in sight, a huge cross of light appeared in front of me.
I approached there without hesitation, and when I was enveloped by the light, the next thing I knew, I found myself in a place that seemed to be under the clouds, rays of golden light came from all sides and a warm atmosphere completely enveloped me; this place was heaven.
I was here at Michael's request and seconds after my arrival the leader of the angels appeared to greet me.
Yuuki: It's good to see you again, Michael. Is it normal for you to receive visitors personally?
Michael: Well, you're not just any guest.
After the summit ended, Asia was able to speak personally with Michael and learn the truth about her expulsion from the church; it lifted a weight from her shoulders that she didn't know she had, that night Asia was extra energetic so I was more determined to help Michael as a thank you.
