Lin Mu had not considered alchemical techniques deeply for this investigation. His focus had remained on direct analysis, on understanding the blood as it was. Yet if the issue could not be seen in its current state, then perhaps it needed to be altered.
"Since you can't figure out what's wrong with it," Lin Mo continued, "then change it, break it down, or refine it. Extract what actually matters."
Lin Mu's gaze sharpened.
"Bloodline essence…" he murmured inwardly.
"Exactly," Lin Mo said. "You're looking at the whole thing and expecting answers. What you need is the core. Strip everything else away and see what's left."
For a moment, Lin Mu said nothing.
Then realization dawned.
He had been approaching the problem from a structural perspective, treating the blood as a complete system. But bloodlines were not defined by the entirety of the blood. They were defined by their essence, the concentrated source of lineage and inheritance.
If he could isolate that essence…
