High Elder Shatter Peak finally stood up after nearly three straight hours of eating.
The giant table that had once been buried beneath mountains of food now looked as though a swarm of locusts had passed through it. Plates sat empty. Cauldrons had been scraped clean. Several servants stared blankly at the destruction while trying to calculate just how much food had disappeared.
Little Bull wiped his mouth and looked around.
"Is there more?" he asked hopefully.
Several servants almost cried.
High Elder Shatter Peak laughed loudly. "No more."
Little Bull blinked. "No more food?"
"No more food."
The young man looked genuinely disappointed.
The giant elder slapped the table. "Good! That's the correct reaction!"
Several nearby disciples silently stared. To them, the fact that Little Bull had consumed enough food to feed dozens of immortals and still seemed hungry was already terrifying. The fact that High Elder Shatter Peak approved of it made things even more terrifying.
