Immortality was useless here. Wrock's ferocious Spirit clung to his wounds and prevented the wound from healing. With the large portion of his stomach now replaced by a hole, Wei could not summon the strength to cut away at the very flame eating away at him.
"I. . . I have spent too long perfecting my technique!", Wei sputtered as he lost strength in his legs.
The howling wind was turning into a whimper.
The flame was stronger than his regeneration. It was slowly burning away more of his body than he could regenerate. Soon enough it would encompass him whole.
Wei was not afraid of death. He too had prepared a revival item. Originally planned for a site of Origin. Rather he was offended, utterly furious, that someone as young as Wrock had bested him in combat.
