With Ace accepting my deal we head out to the Sandora Desert so that we can fight at our full strength and not kill any innocent people.
Eventually we reach a place where we can't see any town or people around for miles. We stand opposite each other where no sound can be heard except for the wind blowing.
By looking at his soul with Devil Stare I can easily tell he's really strong in both spirit and power. That means I can't use my conquers haki because it won't affect him that much. Then when I look at all of him his body is shaped from many battles even his stance tells me he has got lots of battle experience.
Ace Pov -----------
Looking at Samael I can see he's not afraid at all, actually he looks like he can't wait for this fight to start. Even earlier today he wasn't intimidated one bit when he recognised me as Whitebeards second division commander.
When he challenged me earlier I thought it would be an easy fight for me. Now looking at Samael he seems different from earlier, he wore a smile most of the time but now his smile doesn't look the same. Now it looks more like a predator staring at his prey
Samael Pov---------
After a couple of minutes starting at each other Ace decides to make the first move. He jumps back " let's see how tough you really are" next " Fire Gun" he starts shooting little bright orange fireballs at me like a gun.
When his attack starts to get near I just use observation haki to dodge them. When Ace sees me dodge his attack like it was nothing he just smiled.
Usually I would go easy at the start of fights but with Ace it would be stupid to underestimate him. I start walking forward " I hope you're not underestimating me Ace, because if you are it will be a grave mistake hahaha".
I run and jump in the air, when I'm high enough in the air " retribution" annihilation is gathered in my hands then torrents of crimson red shots are fired down at Ace.
In reaction to my attack, Ace shows why he's Whitebeard's second division commander. He gathers fire into his hands " Mirror Fire Flames" a wall of flame erupts from his palms on the ground.
For Ace that would probably block most attacks. I'm not most people though, I watch as my shots of annihilation destroys his wall of fire and narrowly misses him.
Ace Pov-----------
What is that power, my wall of flames couldn't block those shots. I was able to dodge thanks to my instincts from past battles telling me to run when the shots were getting close to me.
I'm pretty sure if I didn't dodge that attack I would be seriously injured.
Once the dust clears from the attack I look at Samael who still has the same predator like smile from earlier. His power is seriously dangerous so I guess I'll have to get serious.
Samael Pov------------
When I saw Ace dodge my attack, I was glad because it means this fight will go longer. Ever since fighting Rayleigh in training, I'm always getting excited when I find people that can push me to my limits.
From the short amount of time I've been fighting Ace I can tell he will be able to push me to my limits.
Proving me right he starts to walk forward " I'll admit I thought you would be easy to beat. Now let's see how strong you really are" he changes his stance "Firefly Light" a bright green light starts to eminate from his hands then many small fireballs form around me.
Before I can even react I hear "Ablaze" the small fireballs are sent towards me. When they get really close they all explode.
The explosion sends me flying backwards until I land flat on my back on the ground. After a couple of seconds of regaining my senses, I get back up while coughing " that *cough* was a really cool *cough* attack. Now it's my turn".
I can see Ace is surprised by me surviving his attack "you didn't think I would go down that easy did you hahaha". I hit the ground with annihilation " field of destruction" which completely destroys the ground beneath me and Ace.
I summon my wings and fly towards Ace while he's falling. when he notices me flying towards him he pulls back his arm " Fire Fist" then he punches forward releasing a stream of fire.
With no time to prepare a big attack, I coat my arms in armament haki and annihilation. When the stream of fire closes in on me I pull back my arm then punch sending my own stream of annihilation which destroyed his flames.
When his attack fails I keep flying forward until I reach Ace. When he sees me his face turns from amusement to worried. I finally punch him in mid-air sending him crashing into the crater formed by my earlier attack.
To keep my attack going I fly down to Ace. when I get to him I throw a barrage of punches to his body.
Ace Pov------------
This guy is a monster. He destroyed all the attacks I threw at him plus he used armament haki to counter my logia so he could actually hit my body.
Throughout the entire fight he never once looked scared at any of my attacks. It was like he knew there was no chance of him losing.
Samael Pov------------
Once I finish my attack I look at his bruised body where he's coughing up some blood. I walk towards him " surrender Ace because there's no way you can win" I hold my hand with annihilation towards his head.
Ace coughs up some blood " *cough* hahaha I guess I lost this fight *cough*".
I stop gathering annihilation and extend my hand to Ace to help him up. Once he gets up and gains his bearing I slap his back repeatedly " hahaha that fight was great, it's been a while since I had this much fun so as a thank you I will give you Teach's location".
Aces face turns from disappointment for losing to joy " but I lost so why tell me". I stop smiling " I intended to tell you from the start I just wanted to see what a fight with a yonko commander was like hahahaa".
For a moment Ace's jaw drops at my statement but regains his composure. I tell him all about my encounter with Teach and he thanks me for the information.
We both look back at the environment where we just fought. Both of us started to sweat because there's a big crater and the nearby sand is red from the heat from Ace's attacks.
While we walk back to Nanohana, Ace asks me why I'm here in Alabsta " why are you here in Alabasta Samael?". I debate whether to tell him but from our interactions I've started to like him so I decided to tell him.
I look around to check there's no one around and it seems clear. so I turn. to Ace " I'm here to beat Crocodile the pirate warlord".
My explanation seems to surprise Ace " why are you after him. Did he do something to anger you". I just shake my head to say no " I've never met the man but defeating him is part of my plan".
I can see Ace is confused so to elaborate " well I'm not going to tell you all of it just that I need to make the people's image of marines to crumble".
Ace Pov------------
When I heard Samael's plan I was surprised because for the first I've met him his entire demeanour and body language is showing killing intent. Whatever the marines have done I can tell Samael is going to make them pay.
Another realization I've made is that during our entire fight he never used his full power. The mere thought of what his full power could be honestly scares me.
Samael Pov-----------
Eventually, me and Ace reach Nanohana and split up. Ace mentioned he's planning to still stay for 10 days before leaving.
I'm now heading towards Helen's house to see what information she was able to get.
After that, I'm going to train my Time Time power. I didn't use it in my fight with Ace because at this moment I have no control over it. I'm also going to try to develop new techniques thanks to the inspiration I've gained from my fight with Ace.
