(A/N: Monster Hunter is an amazing franchise and you can't say otherwise. I've been rewatching LOTR again b/c my editor has never seen it, and I may be influenced by it in the upcoming chaps, or I may not.)
(E/N: Play the franchise, you must. Hmmm.)
Ch.4
The light from the twin suns hanging low in the dawn shone luminously as a rugged looking middle-aged man emerged from his abode in the sandy earth. The man gazed out onto the barren waste of the area he inhabits. Sand. Sand as far as the eye could see. But he's grown used to such views. He sauntered towards his speeder beside his abode and wiped the dust from the windshield of it with a rag before climbing in. Cranking it he cruised his way to his vaporators a ways away.
When halfway there, the peace of the early morn was disturbed suddenly as a flash of light caught his attention. From the corner of his eye he saw a ship ablaze, blitzing its way through the atmosphere. It's final destination unknown to him.
Deciding to forgo his original routine and attempt to salvage what's left of the ship before the thieving Jawa's get to it, the man spun his speeder round and advanced towards the supposed crash site.

Jolting out of unconsciousness, Vince coughed some smoke out of his lungs and sat up. Looking around, he saw sparking wires hanging from the ceiling and pipes billowing steam and smoke. Hopping off the floor, he ran to his room to get a hold of his tools to temporarily repair at least a small amount of damage done. Grabbing a hold of his toolbox, he ran to the area of damage and set upon doing what he could to lessen the impairment.
"Hey Karall! You good?". Vince called out to the Crocun whilst he was stopping a bundle of stray wires from sparking and hanging any longer. After he put the wires in place, he placed a metal tile over the exposed wires and secured it in place. Going to where he guessed Karall is, Vince trekked through the debris of the right wing to the cockpit. Upon entering the cockpit, he catches sight of a Karall wrapping his right leg in a bandage, mumbling profanities while doing so.
"A little banged up, otherwise I'm fine.". Karall looked up from his leg and panned his vision over to Vince. "How's she lookin'?".
"We lost the starboard engine along with the area around it, nothing we can't patch together.". Vince jokingly replied with a small smirk behind his mask. Karall rolled his eyes at Vince's tone and got up, wincing in pain while doing so. Vince maneuvered to Karall and slung his arm over his shoulder for support, and together they both walked through the wreckage and went to the barracks. Once there, Vince layed Karall down on an empty bed that was untouched by the wreckage. "You stay here and rest, I'll go outside and see how bad it is."
Stumbling down the ramp, Vince steadies himself and goes to the front right wing of his ship. Walking over, he sees that the hull is warped and covered in soot. Straightening his back, Vince crossed his arms and looked over the disfigurement.
"Oh.".
(A/N: Pretty short chapter. Sorry about this. Ciao.)
