Hearing the permission to begin the challenge Breeze eyed Selena seriously.
"I will give you another chance. Yield now and I will not going to hurt you!". Breeze tried to talk Selena out of their challenge. She knows how weak humans are and she don't want to be called a bully once she beat her. She is being considerate because she knows how strong she is.
"Really?... Oh, how considerate of you". Selena smirk. "How about this... I'll give you another chance to yield and I promise I won't hurt you". She said with a mocking grin. She threw back what Breeze told to her.
"You stupid bitch, how dare you mock me!.... I'm being generous for a weak fool like you ..... If you don't want want to accept my generosity then so be it!". Breeze prepared herself and stand like a true warrior ready for war. "Human, give everything you've got and don't hold back!".
"Well same goes to you bitch!". Selena ready herself too. She needs to focus. She planned to use her ability for her advantage but she is hoping her energy won't drain up quickly in the middle of the battle, she haven't had her breakfast yet. She needs to calculate Breeze's actions because she knows her opponent is not a typical girl who will do a cat fight. She heard Breeze is a great warrior like Amanda.
"Go lady Breeze!..... Make that weak slut suffer!". Amanda cheered for her. She's in a good mood thinking Selena's time in the Village and in Luke's life will just be minutes away to none. She'd rather hand Luke to another she wolf than to a worthless human. She was smiling wickedly with that thoughts. In her eyes victory already belongs to Breeze. And Breeze's victory is her victory too.
Luke heard what Amanda called his mate and he is not glad about it. His brows knitted to a deep line and his face dimmed. He can see the annoying grin on Amanda's face and makes him more irritable. "I'll deal with you later!". He mumbled to himself.
Breeze do the first move. She used her ultimate speed to attack Selena. She planned to knock her down in one blow but to her surprised she just found her body crushed down to the ground and a silver knife burned the skin on her neck. Selena also grabbed her hair from behind and the blade she holds was pointed on Breeze's neck, ready to slit her throat. Breeze was surprised by Selena's actions she didn't even see her move.
Selena already anticipated Breeze's attack. She knows Breeze will use her strength to suppress or knock her down. Plus the fact that the warriors of Light Moon Pack have the ability of speed and agility while the only thing she have is what she called freeze, where every moving thing will stay still except for her.
"Breeze!". Thunder shouted in worry. Seeing a silver knife in his sister's throat shook his whole being. He can't believed how fast Selena is. He also didn't even see her move.
All the people in the training ground are in gape specially Amanda. She never expected Selena can beat the speed of Breeze of the Light Moon Pack. A Pack who's specialty are speed and agility. Everyone was astonished except for the people who knew about Selena's ability. Those who doesn't know what she can do expect a great disadvantage but they were amazed to see who's in the lead now.
"Do you want to yield now?". Selena said while holding Breeze down.
"No!.... Never!". Though Breeze was at the disadvantage her pride won't allow her to give up easily. She's kneeling to the ground but her hands are free. She took the chance to grab Selena's arm and squeeze it really tight.
Selena felt the pain from Breeze's strong grip. The hand that she used to hold a knife is now in total pain and she can't shake off Breeze hand from her. Selena's knife fell when her hand became knob but before it hit the ground her other hand catch it and slashed Breeze's cheek. A loud scream followed.
Breeze was holding her face with dripping blood. A wound from a silver knife won't heal quickly. She is now in total pain. She removed her hand from her face and saw a lot of blood on her palm.
"You!.... You ruin my face!..... I will kill you!". Rage emits on Breeze's face. Her eyes becomes dark and the chilling cracking of the bones followed. She starts to shift.
"Alpha!". Drew called Luke's attention. He is starting to worry for Selena's safety.
"We can't stop them.... Until one of them yield that's the only way this challenge will end..... It's our Law!". Luke is also worried but he can't do anything about it. This is the law of all Packs and they cannot intervene even if they are the Alpha of any Pack. Luke is just hoping now that Selena won't get hurt. His faith in her increase.
In a matter of minutes Breeze change into a big brown wolf. Her eyes are in deep black colored it means she is in rage and ready to kill.
Mark and his friends who were still watching became very worried. Even though at the first round of their fight Selena get the upper hand but now that Breeze is in her wolf form everything change.
Rice tapped Mark's hand. "Don't worry Mark, the Luna will still win". She gave him a very sweet smile after saying those words. She noticed the great worries in his eyes.
Mark was surprised to Rice's words but he don't know what to say. From his point of view Selena might lost this challenge. He just sigh and patted the little girl's head and say nothing. He don't want to hurt her feelings.
Breeze in her wolf form howled loudly. The blood on her wound stopped after shifting. Now she is circulating Selena. She is looking for an opening to attack her.
"Selena!".
A soft voice called her name.
"Lycandra?". Selena whispered her wolfs name. Though the sound of her voice almost feign she still recognized it.
"Don't kill her, her Pack will be a great Ally". Lycandra reminded her.
"Unless she yield soon!". Selena mumbled to herself.
Breeze saw a little distraction on Selena's face. She saw her speaking to herself. This is the chance she was waiting for.
"I think you need to use the element of water now". Lycandra is still talking to her human.
"Element of water?.... How?". Selena was surprised of what Lycandra said. She remembered when she saw her in her dream Lycandra told her about learning different elements. Selena thought maybe this is a good place to practice.
"Close your eyes and feel those bodies of water around you. Big or small if you call for them they will come and obey you". Lycandra's voice is like a chant in Selena's ears.
Selena closed her eyes and feel everything around her. The wind, the earth, the heat and the element of water. She focus herself to a cool soft body of water as if she can feel them. She can hear a dripping water from a faucet. The water that waving inside a bottle and the water vapors in the air. She saw them sparkle like diamonds when the ray of sun touched them.
"I can feel and see them Lycandra, they are so beautiful". She whispered words of amazement. Everything is new and beautiful in her eyes. The droplets she see looks like dancing crystals.
"Call for them and order them to do anything that you want". Lycandra told her.
Selena's corner lips curved upwards. She have a plan and she wants to test it.
Luke and the other people watching saw how Selena solemnly closed her eyes. They saw her mumbling as if she is talking to someone.
"What is she doing?". Gavin is the first one to asked about Selena. "Is she trying to kill herself?". He is worried. Even though she is someone's mate now, he still considered the feeling he have for her.
Thunder is still watching and no words came out from his mouth. The two women he cared for is battling to have the right to claim Alpha Luke. He hate the man and the situation his sister and Selena are going through.
Luke is worried but his faith on his future Luna can never be questioned. He knows she is not being careless just because she closed her eyes. But he is wondering what she is thinking or doing right now.
Breeze saw Selena in a state of calmness. Her eyes were closed shut and she is not moving. Breeze felt uneasy but she still considered this a chance or opportunity. She ready herself. Her claws grew big and her Fangs showed. She is ready to attack. In a split second Breeze jump to the air heading towards Selena intending to give her a deaths trike.
