[Sophia]
In the bathroom, I--- Sophia--- proceeded to turn the bath faucet a fair bit towards the left. 'The warmth will help me relax after all of the ridiculousness I've gone through today,' I told myself, trying to convince myself. It was also the end of September, and it was starting to get chilly.
As the tub started to fill up with the steaming water , I started to strip while going over the crap I went through in the game. First off, the blazer.
"First off, this guy never told me why he saved me. I mean, yes, I am grateful that he helped me from death's door. That wasn't a lie. But why be so secretive towards the person you saved?" I couldn't help but ask out-loud. Sometimes I just talk to no one in particular. It's not like I get the chance to really talk to anyone outside of this apartment in the first place...
[Next, she grabbed her blouse and started to pull it off.]
"And why so secretive, as well? I mean, I understand that you shouldn't really tell people everything about you when you first meet them, but... I DIDN'T EVEN LEARN HIS NAME UNTIL I WAS ABOUT TO LOG OUT!!!!" I sharply yelled. Okay, so maybe I was DISTRESSED by the actions of the man called Godspeed. But who wouldn't be in this situation?
[Little does she know, that even Godspeed, a random player in the world that got lucky enough to be at ranker level, also had his own problems. Yes, what a horrible disease it is; to have your own personal problems, how unhealthy(said the narrator in obvious sarcasm).]
[She took off her socks and slacks, revealing... socks and slacks... AND a NICE pair of legs, ending with a small, but firm.. gluteus maximus.]
"And as for his eating habits..." I continued complaining while struggling to take off my bra, "I sat at a table with him for barely more than an hour, but it was quite evident that that was all the time I needed to figure out he was a PIG when it came to food! And to say THAT was the best food he had in a while... what kind of situation does this man live in!?" I couldn't help but wonder in what third world country this brazen man lived in.
[She started to get as heated as the bathtub she was beside.]
"Does he just eat cup ramen and drink beer everyday just so he can pay his capsule or something? Because if that's true, then... then, it's a little sad, to be honest." That's the only way I could have finished that sentence. And here I was thinking of getting heated, and yet I'm actually cooling down.
[Yeah. Cooling down and showing some pity, unlike her rising, scalding bath water.]
[Finally taking off her bra, she proceeded to take off her briefs.(Yes, briefs. Gotta let that girl breathe.)]
"And to proceed, now it seems that I've missed some game content... and so early too! And even though I know now, I'm too embarrassed to go to the guild after everything I've said." Okay. So maybe I am not the boldest person in the world, but I AM just a starter as well. And anyways, I treat this game as a distraction.
[Although Sophia may come off as headstrong, stubborn, quick to anger, and small packaged(which she is; all of it), she usually has good intentions. For example: every now and then, she'll see a homeless man here and there, and choose to give them some money for food every now and then. That is, until they try to take advantage of her defenseless behind, butt then she promptly pounds them into the ground.
This was what she was trying to do when she met Godspeed(besides the punching part, although something similar almost happened anyways). She was thankful that some random strong player helped her out when she was in bind, and wanted to at least treat them. She had good morals that she tried her best to uphold, and this was one of the ways she thought she could pay back her debt.]
[Now imagine her being told that the person she was treating was a sarcastic rando that ate like he's only had meals from the big house(jail).]
"Personally, if I knew he'd act like THAT before hand, I would have tried to run off IMMEDIATELY after seeing the guy.
That said, even though he reeeeally made my temper burn, I could see he was trying to help me at the end of the conversation. Heck, he even tried to friend me and help as an apology... what a strange guy."
I just cannot understand the man.
[Yes, Godspeed made Sophia/Moonshine's anger very apparent and scalding, almost like bath water. Yes... almost as scalding as the bathwater that started to leak over the side of the tub.]
"Shit!" Damn! How could I have forgotten about the tubwater!? Haaaaa~h.
"Well, the water is definitely hot enough," I told myself, wincing from the burning heat my arm was feeling.
After the water fell a bit, I chose to block the drain again and dip my toes in the water.
"O~hh. That. Feels Nice."
After starting to relax, I came back to the previous matter.
"Well, at least something good has come from this incident... if you can call it that."
[She started getting in the tub. First her legs, then her pelvis and torso, and finally her arms. But she kept sinking, and sinking, until only her nose and above was above water.]
'I've made a friend.' But this was the only thing I couldn't say out loud. I'm not Bold, Got it?!
[Sophia was kind of a loner. She had friends all throughout her life, but none of them stayed with her for more than a year or so. Even at work, her so-called friends were really just drinking buddies, and she wasn't really close to any of them, even if they had spent 2 years in the same office with each other.]
[But she felt that Godspeed would be different. First of all, it was in a game world, and they didn't really know much about each other, but that's fine. Heck, he probably doesn't even know she's a girl.]
[Sophia's game model was obviously that of her irl self, as is everyone's else, but in the game she chose to edit her hair a little bit so her bangs would cover her eyes and make it harder to tell if she was male or female. And her voice? Although it wasn't oozing testosterone, she wouldn't have to try much to make it sound deeper. Her armor? She was still a beginner, so the armor for male and female doesn't really differentiate from each other, so it hides her ungenerous but still evident assets. Even then, Satisfy doesn't really care that much about what guys or girls wear.]
'Its another world, just like he said,' The memory of him popped up again.
[And the reason she doesn't want to be seen as a girl?]
'I don't really wanna be harassed. I read up on Satisfy before getting the capsule, and it seems that---although kinda rare--- catcalling still happens.'
[Besides her sex not being a problem for the guy, he was a ranker, or at least at ranker level. He probably played for most of the day, no matter how much money he made, so they should have sufficient chances to meet each other. Also, he literally told her that he would help her get stronger. Seeing as they barely know each other, and yet he still chose to help a...]
"...Misguided rookie," I said out loud once again, bringing my head above the water. "Then that means that he probably doesn't have anything to do. Just seeing the way he walked towards the bar, he seemed completely relaxed and in no hurry. Seeing as he has so much time to spare, we'll probably be able to at least talk to teach other without arguing."
[And then she realized the biggest problem with her new friend.]
"... Damn. If Only I could've met someone else," I murmured lowly while slowly sinking my head, until only my neck-long hair remained afloat.
'And who's this guy that keeps talking in brackets?'
