I've just taken a shower and am now laying on my bed with Crystal on me. I've asked Rio and he said if he teleported everything here, it would be suspicious to travellers or visitors of the forest so he just gave me my clothes to change into. I sighed for what feels like the hundredth time I did so since I got out of the shower, all fresh.
"Arran, you've been sighing since forever, what's on your mind?" Crystal growled. I heaved another sigh, "I don't know, man. I'm just worried. Rio told me that anytime soon, the spirits from the spirit world would come to get Rhea or something. What can I do at that time?" I asked, defeated.
'Arran, are you seriously gonna admit defeat without thinking of a way?' my guardian angel snickered. I shrugged and sighed again. "Arran, look, you need to think of a way to get her to safety, though she can protect herself, you're still worried so you need to do something," Crys suggested. I slowly nodded.
"Well, let's look for Rio and asked him if he could help me to somehow save her," I said. I got up sharp and carried up, putting him down on the floor before putting my shoes on. I jogged out of the room and started to look for Rio. He's usually in the dining room for some reason but he doesn't eat much. That's where I last saw him as well.
I got there and couldn't see him anywhere. I made sure to double-check in case I missed him anywhere. I then went to look for him at the window where I saw him last and he wasn't there either. I ran across the hallway to look for him on the other side but was blocked by guards. "This is the girls only area," a guard said. "It's urgent, I need to see if Rio is there."
They looked at each other and shook their heads, "Elder guardian doesn't step foot in here," the guard said. I groaned and looked for him around the hallways, thinking maybe he's there. I couldn't find him anywhere and the only place I've not been in upstairs.
I ran up the stairs with Crystal trailing behind me, in search of Rio. There are four huge doors but all of them are locked. I knocked on all of them but no one answered. I sighed and gave up looking for him and went back downstairs. I bumped into Rhea who is also looking for Rio. "Where could he be?" she asked frustrated.
"What do you need him for?" I questioned and she looked at Leo, "I need to know what he eats and when and, and, and how many times. Leo refuses to tell me," she whined. I looked at Crys to see if he knows anything about this. "We either find our own food or we eat what you eat, we usually don't like being fed unless its snacks and treats," Crystal explained. That's odd but very interesting.
"Uhh, yeah me too," I lied. We went to the dining room and took our seats. "I guess we'll just wait for him here, he always comes here for fun, I think," I suggested to which she agreed.
"Rhea, you seem like a whole different person when we got here, are you okay?" I asked. She rolled her eyes and glared at me. Oops, she's back. "It's just that, this is my childhood dream, my father was close friends with Rio and told me about this place before he chose to be rested. However, he never once told me how to get here, what is here, who lives here, and who was Rio, so I get very excited being here," she replied, surprisingly truthfully with no hint of sarcasm whatsoever.
I nodded and looked around. I guess what she said makes a lot of sense. Well except for one thing that I didn't quite understand. "Rhea, um, what's rested?" I asked. She took a deep breath and looked at me as if calling me stupid, "Spirits lives forever if they aren't killed by electric or poison, so when a spirit gets tired of the world or felt that they've ventured and seen enough, they can choose to be rested. In human words, they can choose to die," Rhea explained. I nodded again.
This is getting very awkward. Where is Rio? I swear to heavens, Rio needs to show himself as soon as possible. I tapped on the table, bored and slowly getting irritated. Rhea is playing with Leo. Crys is laying on the table in front of me.
Just then a loud flap descends from the sky and all the lighting that's just candles gets wipes out. Rhea and I stood up immediately and ran out to check what had happened. Leo and Crystal ran with us. As soon as we got out of the mansion, a hard flap swung our way and we all struggle to stand still not and not be pushed back by the gush of heavy wind.
As soon as we open our eyes, A large green dragon landed in front of us. Rio slid down its wings and gave it a pat. A loud roar escaped his mouth as he disappears and hid away. Rio looked at us calmly but I could feel that he might panic.
"Is that your spirit animal?" Rhea asked. Rio just nodded, "Her name is Jade."
Rhea was about to open her mouth to speak but Rio pulled his hand up to signal for her to keep quiet. "Rhea, Arran, things are really urgent right now, you need to go back to your rooms, now," He ordered. Rhea nodded and went off. I turned around to head to my room too but Rio teleported us to what seems to be his office.
He pulls out an envelope from his enormous sleeves and handed it to me. I took and opened it carefully, a letter was inside. I looked at him for reassurance and opened it slowly as soon as he nodded. I read the letter slowly and cautiously.
"Dear Elder Guardian Ronan Rosario,
You might remember me, we cooperated before. I sensed that a blessed human has entered your zone. Don't worry, I will not take that human, but I will be there to retrieve my fellow spirit.
If you do not pass that spirit to me, I will cast a war to get that spirit back. I will see you soon, old pal.

The Lord of Spirits really is coming to get Rhea for blessing me. I looked at Rio worriedly and he wore the same expression as me. I looked at Crystal who nuzzled my leg to comfort me. "We really need a plan," I told Rio, determined to which he nodded.
