When Takayuki was told to Leave Ryoihchi, he stopped for a moment.
"Will I just leave him alone like that? Is it the right choice?!"
"Will I just let him die like that? Is it the right choice?!"
He turned around and headed to where Ryoichi was.
"As I thought, I just can't let that happen!"
He was thinking hard about what to do if he returns.
"Think something, Michio Takayuki!"
Isshin Kira did say that there is something in Takayuki that he doesn't have and when Takayuki asked Ryoichi about that,
"Probably you have a power, Michio."
That's what he thought and if Takayuki has power, what is it? How to use it?
He then remembered 2 strange things; the scar that got recovered by itself and when he cut the beast's hand with a root that came off his hand.
"What I want at that time was not to die."
If that's the way, then he has a superpower in the first place.
In the end, Takayuki headed to Ryoichi. He saw Ryoichi get overwhelmed by the monsters, and he has only one Molotov as he has used all of his grenades.
But, to save Ryoichi, Takayuki had to pass through the flame.
"I will do it!"
Takayuki swiftly passed through the flame that he managed to protect Ryoichi by using his body to take the damage from the beast.
"What are you doing, Michio?! Didn't I tell you to leave?!"
Takayuki then cried and said,
"I don't want anyone to die for me."
After saying that, the monsters then bite Takayuki's body.
"MICHIOOOO!!!!"
Ryoichi exclaimed.
Those monsters then get split into pieces by the roots that came from Takayuki's body.
"That won't do!"
Takayuki smirked and then Ryoichi approaches him.
"Are you all right?!"
Ryoichi asked worrying about Takayuki.
Takayuki just shows the scar he got gets regenerated.
"For fuck sake! You freaked me out, Michio!"
Ryoichi smiled at him.
"From now on, I won't let you die! We will live as you said that we would save the world, right?"
That makes Ryoichi remain silent.
"Yeah, you are right!"
Ryoichi answered.
More monsters are coming at the duo.
"Then, what's the plan?! You know how to activate your power already?"
"Not yet, but I am testing it."
"Testing? So you were doing that to test it?! Do you have a death wish or something?"
"Yet, it's worth."
Takayuki smirked.
Then, Takayuki quickly summons a great root from his hand and uses it to attack the monsters ahead.
"Take this!!!"
That successfully kills many of them.
"Is that your power, Michio!?"
"Yup, at this rate, I know the way to activate it. It's determination!"
"Then, let's get outta here! Our destination is the Yggdrasil, right?"
"Yep!"
Finally, the duo heads to the Yawata no Yabushirazu forest.

Isshin Kira is seen near the Yggdrasil.
"It's been a year."
He said.
He then quickly dodges the blow from a golem.
"Damn! Come at the wrong time, eh?!"
He finds himself being surrounded by golems. And the monsters, they get wiped out by the slash of Satou's red long blade.
"I told you that he's mine! They are so hard to control."
Satou argued.
"Satou Hideaki!!"
"Yo! As I thought that you would come alone, Isshin Kira!"
"You haven't changed your mind to destroy the world, Satou?"
"If you want me not to do that, then you need to kill me, Isshin Kira!!"
Satou points out Isshin Kira with his long blade.
"I am here not to kill you, but to stop you!"
After saying that, Isshin Kira gets attacked by Satou Hideaki with the long blade yet Isshin Kira makes it to evade it in time.
"Do you think you have what it takes to stop me?!"
Satou asked.

As Takayuki and Ryoichi reach the Yawata no Yabushirazu forest, they are ambushed by so many WTM personnel.
"We have been waiting for you, Takayuki!"
"As Isshin Kira said, he returns!"
They said.
"You?!"
Takayuki gets shocked by seeing them.
"The WTM guys, eh?"
Ryoichi said.
Then, the duo gets escorted by them.
"Report! Michio Takayuki has returned! Again, Michio Takayuki has returned!"
Said one of them.
They see some personnel shooting at the horde of beasty monsters ahead.
"Fire! We are going to escort Takayuki to the Yggdrasil! "
Said one of them.
The battle between the WTM and the monsters occurs.
"Brace yourself, Michio! We won't know if the monsters will reach us or not."
Ryoichi said.
"Roger!!"
Takayuki responded.
So many of the WTM personnel who escort Takayuki and Ryoichi get overwhelmed. Takayuki who sees that gets uneasy that he walks to the vanguard.
"Oi! Michio!!"
Ryoichi exclaimed.
"What are you doing, Takayuki!?"
One of them argued.
'There are a lot of them. I'll try it again!'
Takayuki said in his mind.
He then emits a quite big root from his hand.
"I need the stronger one!"
The root is getting bigger and longer, and he uses it to attack the monsters ahead.
"Huoooh!!!"
As the root is about to touch the monsters, the edge turns to 3 edges that many of them get killed.
"Is this the power of Michio Takayuki!?"
"So this is the reason why he was enlisted in the mission?!"
They are shocked by seeing how strong Takayuki is.
"How about I modify with this power? Will it do? Why not?!"
Takayuki launches his roots to modify the WTM personnel including Ryoichi Daisuke.
"What are you doing, Mich-"
Ryoichi remains silent to see both of his hands getting covered in roots and the roots turn to gauntlets.
"Uwoooh!!"
"It seems stronger!!"
They said after getting Takayuki's root gauntlets, staffs, and spears.
"But, I didn't expect that this would drain my energy."
Takayuki almost falls, and Ryoichi manages to catch him.
"Hey! You've used your power too much! Get a rest!"
Ryoichi said.
"Everyone!! Protect Michio Takayuki!!!"
One of the personnel said.
The personnel then escort Takayuki who is being carried by Ryoichi.
"Sorry, for troubling you, Daisuke san."
Takayuki then loses his consciousness.
As the personnel goes deeper, a great number of beasty monsters ambush them. Thanks to the root equipment Takayuki gave, the personnel can defeat the monsters.
"Fuck off, you disgusting monsters!"
Ryoichi exclaimed while beating them up with his gauntlets.
A monster is seen about to attack Takayuki on Ryoichi's back, but it gets stabbed by a spear held by one of the personnel.
"Boy! Just protect him, will ya?!"
Said the personnel.
"Shut the hell up! I just want to crush them!"
Ryoichi argued.
Thanks to Takayuki, the WTM can outmatch the monsters.
But, it turns bad when several golems enter as it's hard to attack and their speed overwhelm the WTM armies.
At least, thanks to Takayuki's root pieces of equipment, they can barely survive.
"But, that won't change a thing! We are still no match of them, eh?"
Ryoichi argued.
"It's because they are in the strongest ones! We depend on Yumeno Shion and Isshin Kira too much."
One of them said.
As the golems are coming at them who are busy with Takayuki, they get wiped out by Yumeno Shion.
"Sorry, I'm late! I just finished replenishing my energy. Are you all right?"
She asked.
"It's just Takayuki. He has wasted all of his energy!"
Ryoichi answered.
She is shocked to see Ryoichi carrying Takayuki.
"Why are you here?!"
She asked.
"Long story. We've got no time for that!"
Ryoichi points out the incoming golems.
"Right, leave them to me!"
She said.
"Huh? Why just you? Ain't it be better if we help you?!"
Ryoichi asked.
"That's too reckless! I don't want any casualties!"
She said.
"But, the number-"
Ryoichi then gets held by the other personnel.
"We have to focus on heading to the Yggdrasil!"
"That's right! That's why leave it to her!"
They said.
She then enters to take on the golems.
"I have no time for you lot! This time, Isshin Kira must be facing the man behind this incident!"
She said ready to unleash her power.

Previously, Isshin Kira pried the identity of the masked guy with 5 horns who is Satou Hideaki. Yumeno was passed out as she was out of energy to assist Isshin Kira in defeating the masked guy though it was a failure.
In the end, Isshin Kira carried her to a safe place, then he commanded his men to stay at the entrance gate of the Yawata no Yabushirazu to wait for Takayuki. Afterward, Isshin Kira determined to take on Satou Hideaki alone near the Yggdrasil.
Finally, Yumeno awoke, she felt her energy had been replenished and as she was about to catch Isshin Kira up, she paused when she saw the WTM personnel nearby getting overwhelmed by the golems.
Now, she is about to kill those golems alone and what she is doing is just dodging the blow from one golem and when she sees the chance, she breaks the vital part with her gale.
The other 2 golems are coming, she dodges them by somersault jumping, and then she wipes them out in the midair.
More of them are coming.
"Looks like I have to wipe them out in one go! At this rate, this will never be over!"
She said.
She lets out a sigh slowly and unleashes all of her power to wipe them all out.
She then recalls what Satou told her.
"I leave everything to you, Yume! I know you can do it!"
That's what she always remembers.
She then uses all of her power to wipe them out in one go.
Ryoichi and the other personnel who see that remain silent.
"Last year, if I used this, I would be out of energy. But, it has changed!"
She said.
Thanks to her, the WTM armies can continue to go deeper.
"Just a little more! We'll get to the Yggdrasil!"
One of the personnel said.
"I see. Good then!"
Ryoichi said with Takayuki on his back, but Yumeno stops out of the blue.
"Everyone! Get ready!"
The personnel is getting ready for another round.
So many golems coming ambushing them.
"What?! There are still lots of them?!"
She is surprised by seeing that.
"We have to back you up! There are more of them!"
Ryoichi said.
Actually, she intends to take them on alone, but she can't do it with that many golems.
The personnel is facing the golems to protect Ryoichi and Takayuki.
Ryoichi focuses too much on avoiding and he doesn't realize that he let Takayuki off.
"Damn!!!"
Ryoichi said protecting Takayuki from the golem with his root gauntlets.
"It's too strong!!!"
His gauntlets are broken in no time. In the meantime, Takayuki awakes and swiftly blocks the golem which was about to attack Ryoichi with his roots.
"Damn! How long has it been?!"
Takayuki argued.
"Michio!!!"
Ryoichi said in shock.
But it's not strong enough to match the golem that Takayuki gets thud to Ryoichi that the duo falls.
"Ugh! Michio, we have to get away from here!"
Ryoichi gets up.
"No way! I can't let them die here."
Takayuki gets up.
"But, your energy hasn't fully recovered, right?!"
Ryoichi argued.
"Even so, I can't run away!"
Takayuki said.
Takayuki feels that the root won't do on the golem, so he has to make another thing.
"How about a sword?"
Reconsidering it, a short blade comes out from Takayuki's hand, but...
"No way! I just make a short blade, but my consciousness gets faded away…"
The golem is coming to Takayuki.
"I don't wanna fall here before destroying the opponent before me!"
Suddenly the short blade is enveloped by green flame and his hand exudes great energy.
Yumeno who feels that turns around at Takayuki.
Even Satou and Isshin Kira who are in a fight can feel that great energy.
"What is this? What a great energy!"
Satou said in wonder.
"Finally you have reclaimed your determination, eh, Takayuki?"
Isshin Kira smirked.
Back to Takayuki with his short blade.
The time then freezes. The monsters who are about to attack Takayuki, the WTM personnel, even Yumeno get wiped out by Takayuki himself. Then, when the time starts ticking again, the monsters get destroyed in a jiffy.
"Since when was he there?"
Yumeno is surprised to see Takayuki near her.
"Huh!? Are?"
"What just happened?"
The personnel is confused to see the monsters destroyed before them.
"Did you do this, Michio!?"
Ryoichi asked in shock.
The golems from afar can feel the great energy that comes from Takayuki. They then cry and charge to him.
"There are too many of them! It's too dangerous, Takayuki!"
Yumeno said in shock to see so many golems coming.
"No problem. I'll end it immediately."
Takayuki said with no expression on his face.
"Takayuki…?"
Yumeno is confused to see the change in his manner.
When a sec hasn't come, Takayuki has appeared behind the monster who are jumping to attack. They then turn around and then Takayuki appears behind them.
With no hesitation, Takayuki slashes them in one go with his green-flame short blade. The golems that see their colleagues perish by Takayuki cry in pique.
They then charge to him and he just dodges them. Takayuki then dodges to the right and is ready for a counter-attack, yet his movement is predictable.
As the monsters are about to go right, Takayuki appears on the left and is ready to attack.
The green flame on his short blade gets expanded real big and he uses it to slash them in one go.
After that, he approaches the shocked Yumeno.
"I will protect Yumeno san, Daisuke san, and everyone here! I won't let anyone die anymore!"
He smiled.
After saying that, he falls unconscious, and his body falls in Yumeno's grasp.
"You've done well, Takayuki…"
She said.
She remembers what Isshin Kira said before the mission commenced.
"Why did you enlist Takayuki on the Yggdrasil investigation, Isshin Kira?!"
Yumeno asked.
"I have a feeling that he might be the only key to take care of the disaster from the Yggdrasil."
Isshin Kira said.
"What do you mean?!"
"To activate the key on him, we have to let him experience it."
"Experience? Do you mean giving him a terror will make him able to activate it?! In the end, you stay cruel. "
"Like I have another choice! We don't have much time either!"
Isshin Kira said clenching his hand.
Yumeno is holding the unconscious Takayuki.
"So this is what you mean by key, eh?"
She mumbled.
The other personnel approaches her.
"Are you all right?"
Asked one of them.
"Yes, but please take care of Michio Takayuki."
She said.
"Right!"
They replied.
After commanding them, his body is taken care of by them.
"In the end, he fought till he was out of energy, eh?"
Ryoichi said approaching the passed out Takayuki.
"You lot finally know why Isshin Kira enlisted him, right?"
"Yeah! His power does help us a lot!"
"That's why I beg you to take care of him well! He can't die here! It's an order!"
She said.
"But, I am here not for your order! I am here to save the world with him!"
Ryoichi said.
She who hears that smiles and says,
"Good grief that he has a friend like you!"
"Huh? Why did you say that?"
"I used to fight by order, but now I fight to protect something."
She smiled.
"Did you change because of Satou, eh?"
"Yeah! That's why I have to end this incident!"
"Where are you going?"
Ryoichi asked.
"I'll go get Isshin Kira! Now, he is facing the culprit! That's why you guys just rest assured to protect Takayuki!"
"Right!"
Afterward, she leaves them so that they can rest.
On the other side, Isshin Kira is overwhelmed by Satou Hideaki.
"I can't lose here!"
Isshin Kira said.
