What followed was more than an hour of heated debate among the Grand Magus representatives, while the Supremes remained silent, watching the arguments unfold from their seats.

Three percent, proved far too large for any single faction to accept without question.

The discussion first turned toward Emery's actual contribution. One representative proposed giving him a large one-time payment for his past work instead of granting him a permanent share of the project's future output. Another immediately argued that even such a payment would place additional strain on a supply chain that was already stretched thin.

The debate over raising the Wolf clan's quota faced similar resistance. Some suggested taking the additional percentage directly from the public auction portion, while others argued that doing so would reduce the facility's available revenue and ultimately slow the project's development.

Eventually, however, the discussion returned to the same issue.
