Sam was given over fifty names by Ken as possible candidates for recruitment, Sam had to ask Ken how he gets so much names when he could only identify forty of such names. Before long the examination for the third year started the first round was done without a major hitch, most people had their focus on the second round which is the round that involves fighting during break Luke moved with Dele to recruit so many of the year two students it was agreed that the break and during match was the best time to approach them before they disperse for the holidays. Sam was observing Dele, he went as far as sparing with some who refused defeating them so that they could join the team. Sam was glad he appointed Dele as year two were filled with proud students. They needed someone with lots of confidence in their abilities yo subdue them. Dele fit perfectly into that category, Sam turned to Vera, it has been long we had a quality time together, Vera expression was not a happy one, yes Sam I know you will be busy with cultivation but you should make time for me once a while. Sam promised to always do that and they set time to go for a date after exams.

While Sam was trying to meditate there was a commotion not quiet far from where he was, Sam went to see what was happening in the middle he saw Dele and sol facing off. Dele you are too weak how do I become a slave with you I was not the one defeated, if he wants me to join his group then he has to defeat me, Dele shook his head you have yo defeat me first before you are qualified go challenge him. Sam already got the hang of what is happening he stood behind Luke and asked him to go find Steve and Vera. Ken this is going to be very intresting, he e is already defending me. Not long after the fight started bothe were fast and swift but sam noticed something about dele that was different from last time. He was no longer arrogant he seemed to be on the defensive this time around and trying to gauge his opponents strenght and weakness before going on attack.
Sam was pleased with what he saw, looks like dele learnt something, Sol is not weak either. with this dele should win the fight as time went sol noticed he seemed to be lacking behind. Sol decided to be more aggressive but the more aggressive he was the more he seemed to be oppressed. Sam was a little disappointed in the schools traning process if they had more experience this spar would have been much more intense and intresting. The school always try over protecting the students making them genius without real fighting prowess. Although they try making up for it in the final year but one year to Steve seems not to be enough to make up for all the lapses. After a while Sol had a blade to his neck and gave up accepting to join the group. Sam sighed students in this school are too soft but I will take you all through fire and beat you like the black Smith does to metal. Soon after the bell rang and all year three students were summoned to the examination ground.
