Maverick Knight: "Alright."
Reina Thorne read out the first line on the card, "When does Aurora get her period every month?"
Ethan Bell almost spat out his drink.
How could Third Brother possibly remember a girl's cycle—do they really have to ask something this private?!
While Ethan was still complaining in his head, he heard Maverick calmly give a rough date range.
Reina snapped her fingers to signal it was correct. "Awesome."
She'd thought this would be the hardest question of the bunch, but Maverick answered it effortlessly.
Reina remembered that when she'd asked Aurora, Aurora had to think for ages and eventually checked her app.
Aurora had said she never keeps track of that stuff.
Maverick, on the other hand, took it all in stride.
Ethan pulled out a few more big red envelopes and handed them to the bridesmaid group, currying favor.
Reina asked the second question, "What dishes does Aurora like to eat?"
Maverick: "The ones I cook."
