An Mingji walked into the room and casually closed the door behind him.
He spoke softly, "When did you wake up? Why not sleep a bit more?"
Gu Jin raised her hand to rub her eyes, turned around with a smile, "Couldn't sleep."
Her eyes shimmered with tears, which An Mingji noticed, causing his heart to ache involuntarily.
Despite the heartache, his expression remained calm, and his eyes curved gently.
He walked up to Gu Jin and naturally pulled her into his arms, "Don't be sad. I'll be with you."
