Julian Rhodes came back wearing his work clothes. When Zeff saw him, he said, "By the way, Doctor Rhodes, your wife called you just now."
Hearing the word "wife," Julian paused for a moment. Since the last time he visited Scarlett Xavier's place, they hadn't contacted each other again. They had both brought up divorce; it seemed like there wasn't any reason to reach out.
She called him... Could it be that she's ready to go get the divorce certificate?
He picked up his phone, glanced at the call log, and asked, "Did she say anything?"
"No, she didn't."
Julian sat down, picked up his phone, hesitated for a moment, and then called.
Scarlett Xavier was about to carry Nora Xavier into the bathroom when her phone rang.
Nora didn't want to take a bath anyway, so she took the chance to run off.
Scarlett picked up the phone and saw Julian Rhodes returning her call. She answered, "Hello."
Late at night, she was the only one at home. Julian's voice was deep, "Did you just call?"
