"Sounds like early retirement to me," Supreme General Tian remarked with a cold smile.
Still, Yuan saw the corner of his mouth tremble slightly.
"And how am I supposed to explain things to General Mei and the others if I return alone?" Yuan sighed. "Even if I don't die here, I'll die back home when they execute me for your death."
"Don't worry. I'm recording everything, and the footage will automatically be sent back to base the moment the recording ends. They'll know you weren't responsible."
Yuan silently shook his head, no longer bothering to convince him. Instead, he focused his full attention on the Void Hunter rapidly approaching them, its presence radiating a menacing aura.
Once the Void Hunter was close enough, Yuan muttered, "Sorry, old man, but I won't be able to fight it properly with you in the way."
