The ways that Walker used healing magic like it was nothing to him and then kept making sure he absorbed and kept the remnants mana she used under control were shocking. To the mercenaries, it was one shock after another. Especially when he started to show off a little more elemental mana manipulation.
None of them had even seen some of the manas he had used. They had heard of the other elemental planes but they hadn't been near all of them or seen the borders of them before. This was fairly normal for what many of those who lived within the elemental planes might experience.
What Walker didn't say out loud was that his usage of various manas was to judge the effects that they might have on the mercenaries.
