"I would say that you are right and that those things are exactly why we didn't see anything following the chaos collector spider." Even the arrow that gil had in his hand was held back since he didn't want to risk making those little things move toward them.
"I could fight off a few but there might be a million out there." He even made it sound worse the more he stepped back. Not that it was an understatement. He could see the moving shapes and was waiting for Walker to explain with an all around appraisal for the others to know.
