The stone goblin was careful in the way he looked back at Walker. The view from the top of the magic tower had clearly kept his mind occupied, but from the way that his gray skin and the tight way he held his arms to his side looked, he was cold.
"There were more people that made it up to the top here to meditate. I had imagined another to take the title, master of the magic tower. He'd been the first one that showed promise when I was exploring here myself. I even spoke with the tower and managed to get its input."
"The tower is a wonderful creation nearly lost to time. The rune formations within are teaching everyone about rune magic. The knowledge stored within is allowing mages to advance their understanding using more ancient magic to meet modern magic. I even think that the tests between the floors of elemental mana densities are enough to spur new change in each mage too."
