But the sheer volume of similar names is too great, so vast that it's beyond the description of "as numerous as the sea of clouds."
It exists in more than just this world—it's present in the past, the present, and countless future timelines, on anything or anyone that has ever been "bestowed" a name, even including the "Dao"!
Dao originally has no form, no name, yet it is omnipresent; it is the Ancestor of Heaven and Earth, the mother of all things.
To bestow it the name "Dao" allows it to be seen, touched, nourishing billions of cultivators. From the Dao that gives birth to One, Two, and then Three, leading to the creation of all things, evolving into the Great Paths of Saint, Devil, Medicine, Ghost, Technique, thus completing the transition from "nothing" to "something"—this is called "Name."
The Dao of Name and the Dao interchange constantly, never separating.
