Annie was perplexed. She was just doing what a makeup artist should do, unsure why he was upset.
"I'll be doing Miss Tang's makeup shortly."
Aiden Shaw turned his head towards her, his patience waning.
Annie looked at him, feeling a bit scared, her gaze slightly evasive.
"I don't like others touching my face."
Annie finally understood, suddenly feeling somewhat hurt. She hadn't realized Aiden Shaw's loyalty to Tiana Thorne.
Even for just makeup, he was so resistant.
Annie continued to try hard: "Miss Tang isn't a professional makeup artist. I'm afraid her makeup won't be camera-friendly and will affect the image, which wouldn't be good."
Aiden Shaw raised his thick eyebrows, his deep voice carrying a sense of compelling danger: "Not professional?"
Hearing this, Annie's face turned pale, trembling inside: "I-I didn't mean that."
Aiden Shaw narrowed his eyes, cold and sharp: "Or is it that my words are hard to understand?"
