On a whim, she waved at Xiao Shumiao.
Xiao Shumiao immediately skated over excitedly and jumped into her arms, "Mom!"
Ye Xingbei hugged him and spun around a few circles, childishly reaching out to Gu Junzhu: "Let's skate together, the three of us."
Gu Junzhu nodded with a smile.
Ye Xingbei and Gu Junzhu each held one of Xiao Shumiao's small hands, and the family of three glided swiftly around the skating rink.
Xiao Shumiao giggled with excitement, constantly calling out to Mom and Dad, sometimes laughing as he shouted to Lingyue and Qin Junye: "Brother Xiaoyue, Brother Ye, watch me, watch me, I'm going to fly!"
Lingyue and Qin Junye waved at him, greeting him.
Watching Xiao Shumiao laughing brighter than the sunlight, Qin Junye said enviously, "Really envy Xiao Shu... having parents is so nice..."
"It's Xiao Shu's parents that are nice," Lingyue, usually quiet, responded to him considerately, "I also have a dad."
