After the children were sent to the underground path, a hole finally appeared on the barrier around the ancient forest. The humans were so exhilarated that they had broken through the barrier and didn't notice the changes on the towering wooden walls. The black thorn vines seem to have silently retreated and the height of the walls in their area was intentionally lowered while the other part of the walls had grown twice its original heights. As for the black sword that destroyed the barrier, it had somehow disappeared without anyone from the human side noticing.
They were all busy rejoicing that they didn't even notice what was happening around them.
"Hahaha~ finally this damn barrier is down!!"
"The flare had been lit. Our reinforcement should be coming soon!"
"The Marshal will be delighted by this mission's progress."
"By the way, where is the creepy sword?"
"How can you lose it!? That's the Marshal's sword! Go fucking find it or our heads will fly!"
