Tessa Caldwell dared not speak loudly, just in case others overheard.
But others still noticed the two of them whispering, and Summer Aniston smiled and asked, "What are you two whispering about?"
"Nothing," Tessa immediately denied.
Then, her hand under the table suddenly tightened as someone grabbed it.
She looked in surprise at the person holding her hand. His expression didn't change at all. She tried to move, but it was no use; her hand was held tightly, very tightly.
Powerless to break free, she could only smile helplessly.
Just then, Summer Aniston asked again, "Nothing? Then what is it?"
Tessa casually replied, "Talking about drinking capacity."
Faye rubbed the palm of her hand, a strange glint flashing in his deep eyes, and said in a low voice, "Talking about a wager."
"What drinking capacity?"
"What wager?"
"What are you talking about?"
Everyone looked curiously at the two of them, and Tessa was so embarrassed she didn't know how to answer.
