Faye's eyes flickered with a hint of mischief before returning to calm.
He seemed as if he knew nothing, taking a deep look at Tessa Caldwell, then raised his hand, holding Tessa Caldwell's phone: "Your phone is ringing."
Not dwelling on what she had just said, Tessa Caldwell immediately breathed a sigh of relief.
With eyes full of affection, she looked at Faye, quickly ran over to answer the phone, and asked, "Who's calling?"
"Your brother."
Tessa Caldwell took the phone in her hand, casually dialed Silas Caldwell's number, and heard him saying on the other end that he had run away from home and was downstairs at her apartment building, asking if she was home.
The apartment was currently occupied by Winnie Barnett, so Tessa Caldwell told him to take a taxi to the villa area.
Faye returned to the study, Jenson went to the guest room for a nap, and Tessa Caldwell went outside the villa to wait for Silas Caldwell.
