Renee Langdon picked up the comic book again, and Quinn Leroy glanced at her with a subtle smile before grabbing his own magazine.
The journey seemed to regain a relaxed atmosphere, but in truth, Renee couldn't focus on the comic. Everything that happened today left her feeling really complicated... She thought about a lot, until she fell asleep in a haze, and woke up when they were landing.
As she and Quinn walked out, they saw Tessa Caldwell and Faye.
Upon seeing Renee, Tessa beamed and hurried over.
Then Faye's warning voice rang out: "Tessa!"
Tessa turned her head to see Faye giving her a look that said "watch yourself," causing her to pause, slow down, and wave at him, "Got it, I'll be careful."
She greeted Quinn Leroy, then took Renee's arm to lead her to the parking area.
Once in the car, she laughed cheerfully and mysteriously said to Renee, "I've got good news for you."
Renee asked, "What?"
