The two flirted playfully all the way and soon arrived at Quinn Leroy's villa.
Quinn invited her over, genuinely wanting to care for her for a couple of days until she recovered from her illness. He originally intended to restrain himself but did not expect her to initiate closeness; he embraced her, his burning palms gripping her slender waist.
"Are you playing with fire?" he whispered in her ear.
Renee Langdon paused slightly, complaining, "Dreamboat, that's an excuse. I only wanted you to help me remove my necklace and then go to sleep."
Quinn's mouth curved slightly, his eyes sparkling with laughter as if hiding a star.
His voice also carried laughter, and it softened, "Just sleep here."
With that, he picked her up.
Her body was suspended, and Renee quickly nestled into his embrace, reaching out to wrap her arms around his neck: "Are you sure? Remember, you promised to care for the sick me; don't worsen my condition."
